Story
Tinker is a small ball of pure muscle, energy, & happiness. She's 8 years old, 20-22 pounds & needs a good home to go to. I'm moving soon & while she's already made a cross-country trip once, I'm not sure about doing it again. She's super friendly, almost to a fault. If you even utter her name, she will jump up right to you. Tinker's great with other dogs, she used to live with a German Shepherd about 5x her size & would gleefully keep up with her. While this can be a good thing, she does think every dog she comes across wants to play. She is crate-trained, which I refer to as her "studio", & easily picks up on going out & work clothes difference. Tinker is very familiar with table food, with any kind of lean protein & sweet potatoes being her favorite, but her mainstay is Purina ONE Lamb & Rice dry food. She hates squeaky toys, loves soft plushies. If they do have a squeak, which most do, just avoid pressing the middle where it usually is. I'm sure she'll bring joy to her next home <3

Story
Meet Louis Vuitton, the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere he goes. Around two years old, this stunning German Shepherd mix looks like he belongs on a magazine cover with his striking features and designer good looks. His name couldn’t fit him more perfectly. Louis Vuitton is a total lovebug who adores his people with everything he has. If he had the choice, he’d spend his entire day as close to you as physically possible. He loves draping himself across your lap like the world’s sweetest weighted blanket, flopping dramatically at your feet for belly rubs, and soaking up every ounce of affection you’re willing to give. He’s the definition of a loyal companion. He’s currently thriving in a foster home with four other large dogs and has settled into the pack beautifully. While he can be a little reserved when meeting new dogs, once he’s feels comfortable, his playful side comes out. He especially enjoys wrestling, zooming around the yard, and playing with his canine best friend. He also recently met a tiny dog who enthusiastically climbed all over him, pawed at him, and nipped playfully. Louis Vuitton remained incredibly patient and tolerant throughout the entire interaction. Watch Louis’ video here! https://youtu.be/T-OnWeJz7XY?si=_fnOxXKY-xs5Dlnd He also met a kitty and simply gave a quick sniff before continuing on his way. He showed no concerning behaviors and seemed calm, respectful, and mostly uninterested. We’ll continue testing him with cats in a home setting, but his first introduction was very encouraging. Louis Vuitton has also done wonderfully around children thanks to his naturally gentle, easygoing personality. Even though he’s a larger dog, he’s incredibly careful with his body and has such a soft, kind demeanor, making him a wonderful family companion. Like many sensitive dogs, Louis Vuitton forms deep bonds with his people. When he’s feeling unsure, he looks to his trusted person for reassurance. Once he feels safe, though, his foster says he’s a playful, happy boy who loves running around the yard and showing off his goofy side. One of his funniest quirks? He’s absolutely obsessed with the water hose. Turn it on and he’ll happily try to catch the stream like it’s the greatest game ever invented. His ideal home is one that will include him in life’s adventures. Long sniffy walks, hikes, enrichment games, training sessions, or simply spending time together will make this smart, affectionate boy incredibly happy. He’d enjoy having a calm, playful dog sibling, but he’d also thrive as the center of someone’s world. If you’ve been searching for a loyal best friend with runway-worthy looks, a giant heart, and endless cuddles, Louis Vuitton is ready to steal your heart. Story
Bronco is the kind of dog that quietly works his way into your heart without even trying. Maybe it’s his soulful “I love you” eyes. Maybe it’s the gorgeous auburn stripe running down his back or the little tiger stripes scattered through his coat. Or maybe it’s simply the incredibly gentle way he moves through the world. Whatever it is, Bronco has a softness about him that’s impossible to miss. At around 2 years old, Bronco is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and laid-back companion. We think he’s a Shepherd/ Plotthound mix but with rescue it’s always a best guess! He absolutely loves going for walks, happily hops into the car for rides, and is wonderfully easy on leash. He’s the kind of dog who’s just as excited for a weekend adventure as he is for a quiet evening relaxing beside you. Watch Bronco in action here! https://youtu.be/_8ebM5iBOc8?si=SEl5p9TzoPtUCdIt When it comes to other animals, Bronco is truly a gem. He’s dog friendly, especially with calmer canine friends, and absolutely adores small dogs. While busy groups of dogs can feel a little overwhelming, give him one good buddy and he’s perfectly content. He’d love a respectful dog sibling, but he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all of your attention as an only pup. And cats? Bronco practically shrugged and said, “Oh… there’s a cat.” He free-roamed with one for over 30 minutes and couldn’t have been more polite. He’s the definition of easygoing around feline friends. Bronco is also a total foodie. Bring out the treats—especially spray cheese—and suddenly you’ve got his full attention. He’s smart, eager to learn, and loves positive reinforcement, making training both fun and rewarding. Life hasn’t always been easy for Bronco. After spending months recovering while receiving medical care, he’s still learning that the world is a safe place. Because of that, he can be a little reserved when meeting new people and needs a family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. There isn’t an ounce of aggression in this sweet boy—he simply blossoms with patience, kindness, and understanding. Once he trusts you, you’ll discover the affectionate cuddle bug hiding beneath that thoughtful exterior. This sweet boy is also incredibly easy to live with. He walks beautifully on leash, rides like a pro in the car, is food motivated, eager to learn, apartment-friendly, and has the sweetest, gentlest manners. His ideal home is one that’s calm and predictable. He’d thrive with adults, older children, or anyone who appreciates a quieter companion. Since he hasn’t been formally kid-tested yet, we’d be happy to complete a kid test for any potential adopter. Bronco isn’t flashy or over-the-top. He’s the kind of best friend who quietly follows you from room to room, happily joins you on walks, accepts every snack with gratitude, and looks at you like you’ve hung the moon. If you’ve been searching for a gentle soul with a heart as beautiful as those big brown eyes, Bronco may just be your perfect match. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Wintergreen was found with his friend Sunglow on 7/16/26 at 1st St and Grand Ave. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
