This sweet girl is a little over a year old. This girl weighs in at around 45 pounds.  She was found in the woods along with her sister.  We believe Thelma is probably a mix between a lab and possibly beagle or some other smaller breed. No matter her family tree she is 100% sweetheart.  Thelma is very loving, sweet and friendly.  She especially loves her belly rubs.  Thelma didn't get the best start in life but she doesn't hold a grudge-  she is waiting for the perfect family to come along.  ##1972586##

  Meet Duke, the lovable goofball with boundless energy and a heart as big as his hound-mix frame! Despite his size, Duke is a 5-6 year old  gentle giant who adores both playtime and cuddle sessions on the couch. He's the perfect balance of fun-loving and laid-back. He loves attention, loves lying in the sun, and  playing with toys. Duke is housetrained, likes other dogs and a great car rider.  He does not enjoy the company of cats- believing them to be no fun at all.  Duke has had a bit of a rough patch, as he was once heartworm positive. He has received treatment and doing well. . During his time in boarding, Duke's appetite waned a bit, but with some TLC, he's eager to regain a healthy weight and bounce back to his full, happy self. One of Duke's most endearing qualities is his infectious personality. He's always wearing a smile and has a penchant for greeting everyone with his signature hound howl, which is sure to bring a smile to your face. Luckily he barks very little, when he does it's absolutely precious.  If you're looking for a furry companion who embodies the spirit of adventure and relaxation all in one, Duke is your guy. Carly is a sweet female boxer mix puppy.  She sure got off to a rough start in life but luckily we were able to place her with an amazing foster.  She can be a little shy with new poeple at first but warms up very quickly!   Carly is a precocious girl who loves to run, play and explore outside-  she's a big fan of water as well.  Carly loves her toys and loves to play.  Look at that precious face.  Carly will be completing all her vetting very soon and is looking for her forever home.  ##1995101##

Handsome Houston!  Sweet Houston was rescued from the local shelter and has been with an amazing foster since January 2024. A little over a year old he still has puppy energy.  He loves to run, play ball, play tugg and chew on his hard chew toys.  His favorite activity is snuggling with his people.  He has been living an indoor life with a fenced in back yard. Walker hounds are runners and are capable of covering a lot of ground in a hurry so he will need to be on a leash if not contained in a fence.   Houston is extremely intelligent and eager to learn.  He is highly treat motivated making training much easier.  He is crate trained and loves car rides. Houston has been practicing walking on a leash with his foster as well as sit and heel.    Houston tested positive for heartworms and has since completed his treatments. He will need to be rechecked in August to monitor his progress.  He is neutered, microchipped and upt to date on al his vaccines.. He gets along well with other dogs his size and has never met a stranger.  ##1918173##
