Story
Nicole’s name means “victory of the people.” And honestly… it fits her perfectly. Nicole was dumped with her tiny 5 week old puppies and somehow, despite everything stacked against her, she fought to keep those babies safe. She protected them, loved them, and raised them like the incredible mama she is. And she did an AMAZING job. Now it’s finally Nicole’s turn. This sweet girl has come so far since arriving with us. She is housebroken, gentle, and once she trusts you, incredibly loving. Nicole does prefer women and would do best with someone patient who understands she’s been through a lot in her short life. She’s not looking for perfection. She’s looking for safety. For softness. For someone who will never leave her behind again. Nicole has already proven how strong she is. Now she deserves a home where she never has to fight so hard again. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal companion with a heart full of love, Nicole may be your girl.

Story
🎬 Brad… aka Bradley Cooper… aka Brad Pitt 🎬 (he contains multitudes and at least 3 identities) Brad has been with us since October 2025, which at this point feels less like a shelter stay and more like a long-running residency. Sir… it is time to go HOME. Let’s get into it: Is he a stout 60lb boy? 👉 Yes. Built like he could help you move furniture but would rather sit on your foot for emotional support. Does he get along with other dogs? 👉 Yes. No drama. No group chats. Just vibes. Is he intimidating in his kennel? 👉 Also yes. He looks like he’s about to ask if you have a meeting scheduled. BUT THEN— You stop walking… …and this man gently puts his paw through the gate like, “hi excuse me I am baby 🥺” Does he pull on the leash? 👉 Oh, 100%. Brad leaves the shelter like he just heard “FREE FOOD OUTSIDE.” …but give him a minute and he’s like, “ah yes, a calm stroll, I am refined.” Does he know his names? 👉 Every single one. Brad. Bradley Cooper. Brad Pitt. Call him anything and he’s like, “yes that’s me, I’m booked and busy.” ✨ Here’s the deal: Brad is 75% tough guy, 25% clingy little spoon …and honestly? That’s a perfect ratio. He has been overlooked since October, probably because he puts on his “don’t perceive me” face in the kennel… but the SECOND you give him attention, he turns into your shadow. Like… personal space? Never heard of her. 🎥 If you’ve been waiting for a sign—this is it. Come meet Brad. Laugh at Brad. Fall in love with Brad. Adopt Brad. He’s tired of paying rent in attention. 🐾❤️

Story
Well… his name is Chitlin. And honestly, if you’re from the South, you already know this boy has personality. Chitlin is a 2 year old, 33lb country boy lookin’ for a front porch, a farm truck, and somebody to ride shotgun while judging the neighbors. He’s housebroken, good with other dogs, and the perfect size, big enough to help you do chores, small enough not to eat you out of house and home. Need somebody to supervise while you feed the chickens? Chitlin’s your man. Need somebody to follow you around the barn like he’s got a full-time job? He’s already clocked in. Need somebody to sit beside you at the end of the day while the sun goes down? Buddy… this is that dog. Chitlin ain’t fancy. He’s just good people. The kind of dog that belongs on a farm, curled up in the passenger seat of an old truck, or stretched out under a shade tree after a long day’s work. And let’s be honest… you’re not gonna forget a dog named Chitlin.
