Story

The reason Jack cost me because I’ve had him for 15 years and he’s been to the groomer every month $55 and then his pill $30. Jack has been to St. Louis stayed in hotels used to jump from one bed to the other lol it’s been to Vero Beach Florida several times from Paris Tennessee. We usually stop and spend the night in Atlanta. He has never been in a dog carrier or crate. I am gone 14 to 17 hours a day a lot of days nursing and I have to get someone to come let him out at 11 o’clock and again at 4 o’clock a different person for the last two years. I’m moving now and can’t take him to the new place. He had his teeth cleaned $150 lol not long ago. He loves Steak griller treats. Has not been around other dogs in years. When he was real little, there was a little black cat so he laid on the coffee table with the black cat. He likes to lay on the back of the couch. I do not know he’s ever here. I have to look and see he never utters a sound unless doorbell rings someone he not know.

Story

Emery is 2yrs old, she is very playful and a great listener. She is a attention seeker and while shy and barks she doesnt bite. Shes been around dogs and cats and kids shes very gentle. Her only problem which i feel is behavior related is she does poop in the house when left unattended for to long but she is kennel trained and for most part house trained. My ex couldnt take her and i work long rotations out of state so i cant keep her. She needs a good indoor home

Story

Jolie was found wandering the country side and was skin and bones. Though only about 1 year old, her skin and face show signs of a hard life before arriving at CCHS. She has been putting on weight nicely with the help of wet food and extra feedings thanks to our afternoon volunteers. We aren’t very certain what mix of dogs she is, but her curly tail and adorable wrinkles make us think there might be a smidge of Shar Pei in there! She does great with male dogs (as pictured) but has not been around females. She has really came around and bonds closely to those who take the time to understand her and her rough start. Charlie is a young playful boy thats loved everyone he has met. He is a gentle giant who needs work on his leash manners, but he is mostly house broken and knows basic commands! He would love to go to a home with a big yard to run, but that is not a requirement! Charlie is SO deserving of a family of his own.

Pumpkin was found as a stray and brought in to CCHS. She is a nice medium size and the perfect balance between playful and laid back. She does well with slow introductions to other dogs, but has not been exposed to cats. She is extremely gentle and is mostly potty trained. Her leash manners need some work, but she is willing to learn. Pumpkin does well with young children and has great spacial awareness. Come adopt Pumpkin today!
