Outside is her favorite place to be, whether you're out on a run or simply enjoying the crisp autumn air. She plays very well with other dogs, but she would do best as the only pet in the home so she can have all the affection and treats to herself. This Dapper girl is house and crate trained. "She was extremely excited to see and sniff everything. She was so friendly and cute!"- from a Day Trip Volunteer Visit www.cachehumane.org for more information on how to adopt me!

*Relaxed* *Lively* *Personable* Fred is ready to help you host a tailgate party this fall, with lots of friends, comfy chairs, and, of course, plenty of snacks. Fred leads a laid back lifestyle and loves sunbathing, but you can still pull him off the couch to enjoy a walk on a crisp autumn morning. He is a social butterfly and likes people of all ages. He is also very social with other dogs, although he's more of a spectator than a player. Fred is housetrained and is generally well-mannered. He will sit politely for cookies and make no mistake, this old dog can absolutely learn new tricks! "My day out with Fred was so much fun! He is a loving and full of energy boy. He did great in the car! He sat in the front seat and loved it! He really enjoyed the walk. He is a such a sweet boy and I loved taking him out!" -From a Day Trip Volunteer. *Exuberant* *Adoring* *Hugger* Thor has a very striking personality and at times seems a bit larger than life. But he really just wants a person to call his own. He will hold conversations with you and just needs a little patience in basic commands. He loves nothing more than treats and pets. He's a big Ol' Teddy Bear of a dog who offers hugs to anyone in his vicinity so kids 12 and older are more recommended. Whippet Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Lily was a puppy in rescued in 2018 from an abusive situation where she was the last surviving puppy of the litter and her mother was in such rough shape they thought she was a German shepherd but she does look anything like one and we estimate she a whippet terrier. I adopted her in 2018 and immediately knew she had anxiety about strangers. Shes vocal in her greetings and is a good alarm for the door. She has never done well getting her nails clipped and eventually I started getting her sedated for nail clippings. She just got that done a week as vaccines updated and her anal glands. She does not tolerate cold well and hates going out in the winter but loves sun bathing in warm weather and she loves to run around in a fenced yard. She escaped my yard when we first moved and scared the neighbors. We'vdone many preventative things but in September, my son let her out and she bit someone down the road. Judge ruled she be put down or re-homed outside Nibley. Im heartbroken.
