Story
Tiffani is the perfect package of sweetness, smarts, and playfulness! This lovable girl is as well-rounded as they come and is looking for her forever family to shower with love and loyalty. Tiffani is a friend to everyone—she's fantastic with other dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet home. She’s also great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. With her gentle spirit and playful energy, she knows how to keep everyone entertained while also being incredibly affectionate. When it comes to manners, Tiffani is top-notch! She’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her intelligence shines through, and she’s always up for learning new tricks or playing with any toy she can find (and she loves them all!). And did we mention her smile? Tiffani has the absolute best grin, which she’ll flash at you anytime she's in her happy place—which, for her, is almost all the time! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a playful spirit, Tiffani is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless smiles.  If she's such a good dog, then why hasn't she been adopted yet? Have you ever heard of "black dog syndrome"?  Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs, especially larger ones, are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, resulting in longer stays and lower adoption rates compared to lighter-colored dogs. By adopting a black dog, you’re not only gaining a devoted pet—you’re breaking stereotypes and saving a life! Tiffani is a well balanced dog that would fit seamlessly into just about any home but her black coat has put her at the bottom of the adoption pool. Look at her smile, look at her energy, look at the love in her eyes... she will be the perfect companion for someone, black fur and all! To add Tiffani to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2137220##

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Snoopy and I am a Chihuahua, Miniature Australian Shepherd mix. I'm a 14 pound ball of energy! My perfect day involves hiking through a forested trail or exploring a rocky beach. I'm always up for an adventure in nature! I love jumping over logs and walking through shallow creeks. Afterwards we can relax and snuggle on the couch. I'm very affectionate and love giving kisses! Post nap, we can play fetch or tug of war with my favorite squeaker toy. We can end the day with a peanut butter kong and some belly rubs. I dislike walking on streets with heavy traffic, especially when buses and unmuffled cars drive by. The noise is stressful for me and makes me prefer the safety of home. I'm also sensitive to certain noises and will alert bark. I've been wearing a remote controlled citronella collar to help when I get overwhelmed with barking. I'm protective of my home, especially with strangers. Once they walk through the door , I will bark, growl, and nip at them. What helps is meeting new people while on a leash. It shows me they are friendly and safe. Sometimes, I can be reactive towards other people or dogs while on walks, but it's mostly because I am fearful. A good trainer and dedicated adopter can help me overcome my fears.  I'm not crate trained but have used a pen. I'm working on the pen being my safe space. I do very well at the veterinary clinic and have gotten compliments for my sweet nature. I also do well getting my nails professionally trimmed.  I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. What I need: Experienced dog owners that can work with my reactivity and can get me the necessary training No young children A home located on a quiet street away from heavy traffic A gated backyard. I absolutely love running and can run for hours! My fast, agile body would be amazing at agility courses I'm shy and nervous around other dogs, especially if they don't respect my boundaries. However, I can be comfortable with them over time. ##1867517##
