My name is Aries and I was rescued from a parking lot in Oxon Hill. I went through some scary things as a kitten that made me shy and cautious, but I'm a very affectionate kitty and I love being petted once I feel safe. I'm quite chatty. I've discovered that I love wet food and Temptations treats. My foster mom tells me I'm beautiful, all white with only a black spot on my back and a black tail. I will need a quiet home with no dogs, no children, or at least no children under 12, and a patient adopter who will give me time and love until I get comfortable in my new home.  I am being fostered with other cats and I would make a good companion for another calm and gentle kitty. HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA My mom brought me and my brothers to a place that had all sorts of plants and cozy spots, but also a lot of people around. The people at the garden center made sure that we had plenty to eat and fresh water to drink until another nice lady took us all inside while we look for our furever homes! DREAM HOME I need to be in a home with other pets and lots of interaction with people. I’d probably do really well with kids who are respectful and know how to be around kitties. Aslan was rescued when he showed up with 3 racoons for dinner one day in late December. He’s a timid but super affectionate 5-year-old neutered male, up to date on all shots and combo tested negative. He loves being petted once he gets to know you, but is not been much for lap surfing or playing with toys. He is very chill and sweet with our two resident cats, and is food driven. He’s a very calm soul that loves to sun and hasn’t jumped the baby gate that divides his little room from the rest of the house. He likes treats of bacon and tuna juice and would thrive in a calm household with no young kids. Since he’s been inside, he has licked a lot of fur from his body. We’ve ruled out bugs, and the vet thinks it’s more likely anxiety or allergies and that he might have been abused previously. Please consider giving sweet Aslan a chance to win your heart. Pudding was adopted August 2024! My foster hoomans said to warn you that once you meet me, you will never want to let me go! I am a sweet, gentle, super-soft kitty that loves pets and scritches on my head, and am happy to wait patiently and stare at you until you give them to me! My expert biscuit making/kneading skills will dazzle you and I will be your best napping buddy. l will also entertain you by chasing my own tail around in circles as well as any dangling toys that come my way! You might think I’m shy when we first meet but I’ll be coming out to beg for pets in no time. Hello, humans! My name is Keiko, and I'm here to share my story with you. You see, I'm not your typical cuddly, affectionate feline. Nope, I'm what some might call an independent spirit, packaged in the beautiful body of a tuxedo cat.    I've had a bit of a rough start in life, and it's left me a tad wary of people. Before I came to live with my foster parent, I had terrible dental disease, and I had to have all my teeth removed. I’m still a great eater, enjoying hard and soft food.  Being outdoors is off limits to me, as it’s not safe for me without my teeth to help protect me. Which doesn’t bother me at all, as I like being indoors.I love playing with my toys, but I don’t really enjoy playing with humans.  I like being in the same room with my foster, occasionally granting her permission to pet me, but I am not a lap kitty.  I do enjoy an occasional brushing on my belly, though. Deep down, I'm just a misunderstood kitty looking for a place to call home. I may not come running to greet you at the door with purrs and headbutts, but give me time, and you'll see there's a whole lot more to me than meets the eye. I’m searching for a patient, understanding cat lover who is willing to respect my independence, and love me anyway! I think I’ll thrive in a quiet, all adult home, where I’m the only non-human. Batman is a stunning black male cat, who was born in July 2022.  He came to us in the Summer of 2023 as a one year old, and he is now ready for his furr-ever home!! He has been living in a loving foster home since that time, which he shares with other cats and dogs.He loves being petted on his head, under his chin and he delights in ear scratches, but his back and belly are off limits!  This is a young fella' who knows his boundaries, and he will let you know too. Olive is amazing! She isn't a bad cat in any sense of the word. She get's along great with other cats and kids. She has the cutest meows and scratches. She is cuddly but, won't stay long if something else interests her. She will stay long if she is tired however. She loves to roam the house and do her own thing but once she finds her person she will stop and meow to let you know that she has seen or acknowledged you. Once that happens she is coming to you for some rubs and cuddles. I am rehoming her due to her fur. My other cat has a different set of hair and doesn't bother my allergies but, olives fur does. I hate to get rid of her for sure but, when my allergies act up it bothers my breathing.

CHUY (A545369)Chuy is a beautiful, neutered tabby and is very vocal. He was surrendered because his owners moved. He doesn’t know why he was left behind. He has a calm temper and is very curious.
