Story
Cil came into our care 10 years ago as a kitten. She traveled around the country with us in our RV during covid. Some of her favorite hobbies are eating, sleeping, and laying in sunbeams. She's an indoor cat and does require a special diet for sensitive tummies per our vet. When Cil meets new people she can appear stand-offish at first, but honestly not always either. After she's comfortable, she quickly becomes curious and usually asks for pets. She is fairly chill - has never woken us for food, sleeps in her own spaces around the house, and mostly keeps to herself. Cil likes to perch places where she can see outside and on occasion enjoys toys with catnip. She's lived with a dog and gotten along fine with her. We've never owned another cat, but she's never territorially sprayed in the house with stray cats roaming around outside of our home. She loves attention and affection on her terms, and is up to date on all her medical needs.

Story
Bluey is an independent lady with lots of purr-tential. She is currently accepting applications for a human companion. Because Bluey knows she is a dashing and beautiful girl, she expects royal treatment (very doable treatment after negotiation!) She has advised us that her human companion needs to be ready to supply her with both her wants and needs: Her human should not hesitate to buy her the biggest box of her favorite treat tubes and feed her one at least one per day. Bluey also requests that her human has both the skill and stamina to participate in her favorite playtime activity: the dance of the feathered wand. When not busy playing feather wand with her, said human companion should give Bluey scritches in all of her favorite spots (cheeks, behind the ears, top of her head, and under her chin) using her implement of choice (her current favorite is a back scratcher). Most importantly (or at least as important as all responsibilities related to treats), Bluey's human companion will need to be a patient person, who understands that she will need some time and space to evaluate their skills and worthiness. Bluey is charming, playful girl who will be a joy in your life. To apply to spoil Bluey, please fill out an adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LDAC/Cat) or email questions to cat.adoptions@lostdogrescue.org.

Story
Thelma aka Annie Oakley is ready for her shot to steal your heart! Thelma is an affectionate, quiet, friendly girl who enjoys a good snack, window watching, and playtime. She is known to be a little shy, but have a touch of patience and she will make a great addition to your home! One of the few sounds Thelma makes is when you call her name, she replies with a squeak back at you; it is as cute as can be. Thelma enjoys the company of humans and the belly rubs, head scratches, and the entertainment they can provide. One of her greatest sources of entertainment is her sister and partner in crime, Louise. Together they are the purrr-fect duo who love each other dearly! They are bonded, so are looking to go to a home together. Thelma & Louise are overall fairly low-energy cats who would do great in a calmer household. To learn more about how to adopt Thelma & Louise, please fill out an adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LDAC/Cat) or email questions to cat.adoptions@lostdogrescue.org

Story
Miles is a chonky cuddler who loves to eat and play! I adopted him over three years ago from a family in Washington state. He is about 11 years old. Vet has told me he is in good health and I have not noticed anything wrong physically. I am working all the time and about to move again, and I don’t want to put him through all that. I would rather him be with a family that will spend time playing with him. He would do best in a home with no dogs unless they are well behaved and chill. He can get used to dogs it just takes a long time. I do not know his behavior around other cats. Overall Miles is extremely chill, but when he is hungry or wants you to pick him up he will definitely let you know.
