Story
Chef Wendy is the best biscuit maker in town, and she kneads you to know! This sweet baker loves showing off her talented biscuit making skills to her humans, especially on her favorite fuzzy blankets. Biscuit making is hard work, though, and because of that Wendy loves to nap, either on your lap or a nearby comfy chair. She loves pets and head scratches, and will let you know with a meow or flop on the floor when she wants them. This sweet girl has a wild side too, always willing to chase her favorite worm toy or jump after your shoelaces. She's the purrfect combination of cuddly and playful, and will quickly become your furry best friend! To learn more about how to adopt Wendy, please fill out an adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LDAC/Cat) or email questions to cat.adoptions@lostdogrescue.org.

Story
Meet Nina, the cat who's all about peace and independence. She's a quiet kitty who doesn't beg for attention or seek out cuddles. Nina's special talent? Being super patient and cool with things like nail clippings and taking her medicine without a fuss. She won't ask for pets, but if you give her a gentle chin scratch, she'll melt into a purring bundle of joy. Once you start, you'll find it hard to stop because she loves it so much! Nina's the perfect companion for those who appreciate a calm and self-sufficient furry friend. She might not be a social butterfly, but when it comes to chin rubs, she's the ultimate purr-fectionist! To learn more about how to adopt Nina, please fill out an adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LDAC/Cat) or email questions to cat.adoptions@lostdogrescue.org.

Story
Lexie might be an independent young cat, but whether she's watching for birds, taking a nap, or making biscuits she's going to be doing it in the same room as you nearly all of the time. She'll keep you company whatever your task might be. When it's time for a nap warm sunbeams and soft blankets are her favorite cozy spots. This sweet girl makes a wonderful companion. Lexie has tested positive for FeLV. She's currently unaffected, as it's likely in a latent or transient stage. However, reactivation of FeLV could potentially occur in the future, making Lexie more prone to infection and a weakened immune system. Story
Jack is a sweet, scritch loving boy. The harder the scritch, the better. He enjoys belly rubs and brushing too. Jack came from a home with "too many animals, but now is getting used to being the center of attention. He enjoys hanging out with his humans and will take advantage of any warm lap opportunity. He has his buddy, Peachy, to whom is very attached. The two often snuggle together for their afternoon naps. He likes interactive play with a wand and will keep going until he tires out. Jack is an adaptable cat and would do well with a house with kids or a quiet house where he can keep an eye on what is going on. While Jack is quite affectionate, he is a little skittish at the same time. It will take a little time for him to get to know you, but once he picks you, he's yours. Jack is bonded to Peachy and they must be adopted together. To learn more about how to adopt Jack, please fill out an adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LDAC/Cat) or email questions to cat.adoptions@lostdogrescue.org.

Story
"Meet Ghost: The Bengal Cat Who Loves to Chat and Play!" My name is Ghost and I'm on the prowl for my forever home. As you can see, I am a handsome purebred 3-year-old Bengal cat with a sleek and solid frame, weighing in at a muscular 12 pounds. But don't be intimidated by my fierce appearance, I promise I'm a lover, not a fighter. I may be a talkative feline, but trust me, I have a lot to say. My special routine consists of the basics: eating, exercising, sunbathing, and sleeping. But don't let that fool you, I am one active and energetic kitty. I enjoy runs on the cat wheel, chasing toys, and playing hide-and-seek, but I also know when it's time to relax and catch some rays. I may be independent, but I am also a clever and curious cat. I love exploring my surroundings and figuring out how things work. I enjoy cuddling and being close to my humans. I have a knack for sensing when you need some extra love and I'll be there to give it to you.
