Let me introduce you to this little live wire of a pup! Henrietta weighs 36 pounds, is about 6 months old and was brought to the shelter as a stray on 4/10. There is nothing shy about her. Rather, she is confident, has an outgoing and spunky personality and is busy, busy, busy! She has a places to go, things to do and people to see! In other words, she doesn’t slow down much. Henrietta needs an active family that will give her daily playtime, exercise, and she could use some manners training. She does jump on you and that is an issue that should be addressed so that she knows it is not appropriate to jump on people. She walked ok on a leash and she is playful, although was not interested in toys or balls. Henrietta gets an a+ for enthusiasm and spunk! This youngster has a lot to offer and with patience and instruction on how she can best fit in with her new family, she will doubtless be a devoted and loving pet. It goes without saying that she has no interest in being a backyard dog. She dearly would love to be living inside, socializing, snuggling, and hanging out with her peeps!

He’s good with other dogs as long as they’re his size, as he likes to play, a lot. He’s very protective and territorial, especially of our two kids. Aggressive towards strangers. He’ll need a big back yard with lots of space to run around. I wish I had the time and attention to give to him that he needs. He is up to date on all his shots. I also have a $400 Amazon 10x10 ft kennel you can take with you if you’d like. It’s brand new, however Bear has already managed to push out the bottom of it on one side where he gets out. Hello there! My name is Mae & I`m the shelter`s FIRST EVER `Mini` German Shepherd :) A few days after I was brought into the shelter, I began throwing up my food so the staff took me to the vet to make sure I was in good health. They were really worried about me because I appear to be a 4-5 month old German Shepherd puppy, and they thought maybe I had contracted a parasite, infection, or virus... turns out, ALL of their assumptions were wrong. After a full health scan, including bone x-rays, they discovered a few things: First, and most important, I wasn`t sick - just inhaling my food & upsetting my stomach to the point where I threw up. Secondly, they realized that I was an adult, probably around 18 months old. I do extremely well with other dogs, both big & small, and I absolutely love getting attention from the girls here at the shelter! I`m everything you could ever hope to find in a German Shepherd, all in one fun-sized package! If I sound like your kind of girl, please come down to the shelter to meet me & prepare to fall in love!
