Story
Buster is a super dog! He is 2 years old. He is easy to walk on leash and heels well. He doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs on the street. He is very friendly and good with kids. He loves to play “chase” and chew on his bones. Buster loves to be petted and hugged. He also makes great eye contact . He sleeps a lot and does not bark much. Buster has beautiful blue eyes and a lovely ivory color. He is tall and weighs 95 lbs and fully vaccinated. He is very handsome ! A real head turner ! He is in good health. He likes walks and would be a good jogging partner. He has had some obedience training and knows several commands. He rides well in the car. Buster is very loyal to his owner, particularly with other dogs in the house. Buster will do best in a one dog house and be your perfect buddy. He is very good with kids and even a toddler! I sadly have to give him up because of changes in my life.

Story
Jazzy Jazzy Jazzy...We really need YOUR help with this sweet girl! A bit about her past: Jazzy came to us as 7-week-old puppy. Her littermates, including herself, got adopted right away. Jazzy then went out to live as an indoor/outdoor pup for about 9 months. When returned back to the shelter, Jazzy was fearful of EVERYTHING! The leash, other dogs, all visitors, etc. She would hide in the back of her kennel, and no one was able to view her. We have tried endlessly to build her trust back up and thanks to the help of her amazing foster mom, Jazzy is once again, on the road to being a confident pup! Foster mom states: Jazzy is the sweetest most cuddly dog out there! She takes time to warm up but once she knows you`re not there to hurt her, she will stick to you like gum! We are working from ground zero. That includes, leash manners, reactivity to dogs/strangers, basic manners (jumping on people) etc. Jazzy does great indoors and is potty trained. She also gets along well with most dogs. Foster mom is going above and beyond and having a dog trainer work with Jazzy at her house. If you are interested in meeting our special Jazzy please contact the shelter at 408-686-3900

Hi, my name is Maxie and I love meeting new dogs and going on adventures. I love meeting new people too, though it takes me time to ask for cuddles. Don’t let that deter you, I warm up quickly especially with yummy snacks. Once I am comfortable with you, you will be lucky enough to witness my Yoda/Grogu ears!!I love training for food and have a pretty solid sit and down!I am looking for a home that wants to continue my training, give me time and patience to decompress, and will give me opportunities to make doggy friends.Timid boy who needs time to adjust, but once he is comfortable he is a total love bug always looking for affection.Gets along great and loves play time with other dogs.Walks well on leash, and will always ensure to sit for a treat.Maxie has been at the shelter for a few months now and would love to find a patient family to love him!Weight - Large (50-70 lbs)People - YesDogs - YesInterested in meeting me? Hi, my name is Romeo. I can be shy when meeting new people but with snacks, I warm up quickly! I will even lean my whole body weight into you for cuddles. When I see dogs on walks and from the play yard, I get excited and show play signals. The staff and volunteers are in the process of scheduling me a doggy playdate. After my date, I will update about what type of canine company I like to keep.My assistants set me up in playgroup and I had ball! You will also be happy to learn that I love water and hope to have my own pool in my forever home.I am a big boy but walk well on my Easy Walk Harness. I love training for food! I have a pretty solid sit and down.Interested in meeting me? Please visit our adoption center located at 12425 Monterey Rd in San Martin anytime during open hours (12-6pm weekdays, 12-5 pm weekends). Meet our big boy Oatmel!Although Oatmel has not been exactly aged it is certain that he is a senior, and on that note a shelter is no place for a senior to spend their days.Oatmel is very sweet and curious, the volunteers have stated that he takes well to commands on the leash and is very mellow.Considering foster/adopting Oatmel? Please visit our adoption center located at 12425 Monterey Rd in San Martin anytime during open hours (12-6pm weekdays, 12-5 pm weekends).
