Story
We got Snow as a puppy, and she is a very sweet dog, active, and she's very talkative, especially when you are delaying her from eating her food! She loves getting all the pets and is adorable when she is asking to be petted. She likes to play with toys, loves walks, and she is fast and an excellent rodent catcher (and bunnies and birds). She is trained to know sit, lay down, go potty (she is fully housetrained). Snow needs to be an "only (dog) child", as being part of a pack causes her anxiety, especially with other females. She is up to date on all of her vet care, shots, meds, etc. She would do great with someone who could walk her regularly, or lives on land where she can chase squirrels to her heart's content!

Story
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship then look no further!

Pet Location-Wayside Campus - I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: -I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter! -Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained!-My previous owner said that I am house-trained!-I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. -Wayside recommends researching my breed before adopting. My home needs are: -I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days so we can meet!-Wayside requires bringing the whole family out to meet me before adoption - new people can make me a little nervous.-For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Hi there, I’m Roscoe! I’m a playful, wiggly, affectionate goofball with a tail-wagging, happy style that is sure to make you smile. I’ve been a family dog before recently becoming homeless. I know what it means to belong and to give unconditional love to my people. I want that again. I hope that maybe you have room in your home and your heart for a deserving pup like me. It might take me a little extra time to warm up and to realize that you’re my people, but once we bond, I am a complete cuddle-bug. And I need you. I hope maybe you need me too!I’m an adorable, 1-year old, 50-pound Shepherd mix, with stunning blue eyes, beautiful, soft fur, a bright smile, and a spunky, silly, delightful personality. I’m even already housebroken and crate trained too, thanks to my previous family, who I loved very much. They loved me too, but I needed more exercise and attention than they were able to give me. I get it, but I sure miss them. They gave me the gift of safety by bringing me here to Wayside, where I am being cared for and loved u

Pet Location:Wayside Waifs CampusMy Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - Don`t be fooled by my age, I still have a lot of puppy energy!- Loves tennis balls and stuffy toys!- My previous owner said that I am house-trained. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I need a home without other dogs - I prefer having your attention all to myself!- I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!- Cats are much too interesting to me, so it recommended my home be cat free.- Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - Recommend no apartments or shared living spaces for me- when I am in busier areas with lots of other dogs around I can be reactive on leash.Check out my super cool video! Scroll through my photos to watch it. Hi there, I’m Xena!I’m a 6-year-old German Shepherd with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Don’t let my age fool you, I’ve still got plenty of that classic Shepherd energy and goofiness that’ll keep you smiling every day. Whether we’re going for a hike, hitting the trails, or just playing in the yard, I’m always up for an adventure with my favorite people.I’m both housetrained and crate trained, so I’ve got the basics down. What I’m really looking for now is an active home where I can stretch my legs, explore the world, and be included in your daily life. I thrive when I have a job to do, even if that job is simply being your loyal sidekick.I got to go on a field trip. I jumped right in the back seat. I rode in the car beautifully. I loved being able to stick my nose out of the windows. We only walked around Minor Park for about 30 minutes since it was already so warm. I did great. I enjoyed a sausage biscuit and an ice cream pup cup from Sonic. We went for an extended car ride after that. I had so much fun. I can`t wait to go again.I am a bit afraid of other dogs and unsure of the best way to interact with them. My friends at Wayside have been working on teaching me how to be comfortable around other dogs but for now, I`ll need a home without other dogs in it and where I don`t have to worry about going to do
