Bailey is a sweet energetic puppy who loves people and other dogs. She’s a great, smart dog and very playful. She’s trained to go outside and on puppy pads. She is also crate trained. Because of my busy schedule and the fact that we live in an apartment, I realize that I am unable to meet her needs. I saved her from a home in the Bronx and wasn’t made aware that she was part German Shepherd and I feel guilty that I can’t provide the life she deserves for her energy needs. She would make an amazing addition to a loving family with a beautiful home that will allow her to be able to run and play and not spend most of her days in a crate. For her breed type and her energy level it is best for her to find a home with experience with a puppy like her.

Bella came to the shelter just about a year ago at three years old only because her owner was terminally ill and can no longer care for her. Bella is nice and laid-back with people friendly loves to run likes to engage with the ball. She’s not particularly dog friendly, but she’s neither an aggressive dog who couldn’t walk by other dog you can walk her just fine, sometimes she plays her other dog she fence, but we don’t think she has been exposed to children very much. Bella is half German Shepherd and half pit and she’s about 50 pounds.

Dakota is a three year-old black sable Shepherd who was found in someone’s yard near the border of Yonkers and Scarsdale. He is laid back pleasant, calm, friendly walks nicely on leash and enjoys being with people. He’s only here a week so we’re not yet sure how he is his children and although he hasn’t met another dog up close, he seems fine passing them and being close to them in the outdoor areas
