Hello! I am new to the shelter! Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better!Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $235.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)All dogs come with free leash and collar.

Story
I adopted Coda from a California rescue where I was a trainer. She was very reactive and untrained when I got her. After a year of dedicated training, she transformed into a wonderful companion with several canine friends, including an unexpected bond with a small purse dog. We were inseparable until I moved her to a farm in Lawrence County after getting married. However, the farm life hasn't suited her; her prey drive led to the deaths of our poultry and posed a danger to our cats. Now relegated to an outdoor kennel, she barks constantly. As a busy father and business owner, I can't give her the attention she needs anymore so its no longer best for her to be with me. She has to go. No hip displasia. Love to play, train, hike, run, and just be by her owners side. I know shes older (12-13 I think) but shes one of a kind, I'm hoping to find a loving retirement home where she can spend her remaining years comfortably, happy and getting the love and dedication she rightfully deserves.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Rush - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Rush is an Old English word meaning 'weaver' usually using the reeds known as rushes. And let me tell you, that name suits me as I'm a real pro at weaving...weaving my way right up into your heart!!! I'm a youngster coming in at around 6 months. What a perfect age to be your lil spongey sidekick...soaking up everything! I'm affectionate with people both tall and small, get on good with the other foster pups but haven't met any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. Being active and playful I'd do great in a home with another playful 'sibling' or as your adventure buddy getting all the attention. I come in at right around 36lbs and will make a fabulous mediumish size boy to share in all your activities whether it's monitoring your yardwork skills to making sure you have a blast on our action packed adventures. Whatever is your preference I'm game on giving it a whirl!! My beautiful short coat is low in the maintenance department making me more of a wash-n-go type of fella. Perfect for being ready to go at the drop of a hat!! I've got a moderate energy level which will require some daily exercise and playtime but with that in I should do just fine in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. Are you in need of a BFF to share in all your daily going on's? A sidekick to be by your side for those action adventures? A cohort in crime. hehehe I can be that, no problem!? OMGosh, that sound just like you're searching for ME!!! Stop scrolling and hurry to fill out my adoption application and we can be on our way to having sooooo much fun!!

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Laurel - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am with another rescue that is having a family emergency. If interested in adopting me, Hay Dude Rescue will pull me into their rescue to complete my adoption. My name is Laurel and if you're in search of a gorgeous gal that is as beautiful on the inside as the out, look no further! I'm pretty much a mellow, laid back, go with the flow kind of gal that would be great for a first time pet parent. I am around 3 years, a tad bit shy at first meet (I warm up quickly) but very sweet and playful. I do fantastic with everyone... other dogs and people both tall and small. I would make a great addition for just about any family that is looking for a sweetie to add joy to their life. Although I haven't yet met any of those strange smelling creatures y'all call a cat. I am already house trained so that will leave lots of time for us to get right to the fun stuff. I do love going for my walks whether it's around the neighborhood or going on a sniffari on nature trails. I had been mostly an outside dog :( but I'm quickly catching on to the softer side of life and have already mastered the outside to potty concept! I come in at around 50lb which is a pawsome size to tag along on all your adventures from the mundane to the exciting! Are you in search of a family addition that will be there by your side, a constant in your life thru all your daily going on's? A BFF to share your joys and sorrows? WAIT, stop scrolling, I am that gal!!!
