Story
Milo is a six year old male German Shepherd dog named Milo and weighs 98lbs. I am looking for a great home for Milo. I will be providing all grooming materials, household items, food materials, and toys. He is high energy and loves to get out for a walk and meeting new people. He is a great cuddler. Unfortunately, hes not great with other animals, e.g. dogs, squirrels, and rabbits. Milo needs some behavior training (for jumping, leash work) and a patient hand around other dogs. He is house broken and kennel trained. Milo prefers stuffed animal squeaky toys over any other. He is not one bit picky about treats He is up-to-date on all his shots and is neutered. Currently, Milo is not taking any medications, but he does have allergies. Milo allergy test showed allergic reactions to barley, storage mites, and English plantain. Allergy medication is highly recommended for the storage mites and English plantain allergy, but specific food for Barley allergy.

Athena is a 7 year old, 80 lb female German Shepherd hoping to find her forever home! She was surrendered to us due to the death of one of her owners, and she arrived in pretty bad shape. She wasn't potty trained, and she had a bad skin infection. Since fixing both of those issues along with decompression, Athena has really come out of her shell! This lovely lady is spayed, up to date on vaccines, crate trained, and potty training has gone very well! Athena enjoys being around people! She LOVES being in public and meeting new people. Athena is very interested in meeting other dogs, and she loves going for her walks. She has not been cat tested yet, but we can do that it needed.Athena would probably do best in a home with older children as she may accidentally knock over small children due to her size. She's not a jumper, but she loves to lean on you when she wants to be pet. Athena also loves to play with toys, and she is catching on to fetch!DATCP#483538

Story
You know that feeling when you meet someone who just gets you? That’s Holly, a 2.5-year-old shepherd mix who rolled into our Wisconsin rescue in January, fresh from the dusty Texas plains. She was a bit of a mystery at first, on a medical hold while we figured out her needs, but now? She’s pure sunshine, trotting through her foster farm with a goofy grin, weaving between horses and chickens, and nudging her dog buddies for a play session. Cats, though... she’s got a nosy streak, so let’s keep her home cat-free! Holly’s got this quiet magic. She’ll flop onto the grass, soaking up the sun, or lean into your hand for a scratch, like she’s saying, “This is enough.” She’s crate-trained, housebroken, and fits into any dog crew like she was born for it. But here’s the real deal: Holly’s epileptic, kept steady with Phenobarbital and Keppra. She’s a fighter, and she needs someone just as strong- someone who’ll see her seizures as a small part of her huge heart. Whether you’ve got a farm where she can roam or a cozy couch for her to claim, Holly’s ready to be your ride-or-die. She’s not perfect, but she’s perfectly Holly: quirky, brave, and ready to love you with everything she’s got. Can you see it? Her eyes locking on yours, her tail thumping, knowing she’s finally found her person? If Holly’s tugging at your soul, don’t wait. Apply at www.HBWI.org/adopt and give this girl the home she’s been dreaming of! FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
