Meet Nova — the girl with the big presence! 🌟 (Nova is currently living in Texas with her foster family and will be transported through Project Freedom Ride when adopted) At just 6 months old and 44 lbs., Nova may be the smallest of her litter of five, but don’t let that fool you—she naturally steps into a leadership role among her siblings. She’s expected to be a medium-sized dog once fully grown. Nova is a little more reserved at first, but once she warms up, her sweet, gentle nature shines. Her shiny black coat paired with her rich mahogany markings makes her absolutely stunning. Nova, her momma, and her siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets in a rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Nova is ready for her next chapter—a loving forever family to call her own. If you’re looking for a beautiful, smart, and tender-hearted companion, Nova may be your girl. 💕 Please complete an Adoption/inquiry form if you’d like to adopt Nova (copy and paste the link in your browser): https://form.jotform.com/241436494645160 Fun Facts about NOVA: * Estimated date of birth is 6-12-25 * Weighs about 38 lbs. at 6 months of age * Spayed and fully vaccinated * Mom is a German Shepherd/Husky mix and dad is a mystery…possibly part Doberman * Laid back personality, but does like to be in a leadership role with her siblings * Does okay with other dogs * Heartworm and Tick Fever negative and current on preventatives Videos of NOVA: https://youtu.be/13HCrwxqJcI https://youtube.com/shorts/sjtaCMwm_yQ?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/vdKKZahEsgQ?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/cAjAi_nRVwA?feature=share …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. Meet Buster – a sweet, not so graceful pup ! (Buster is currently living with his foster family in Texas, he will be transported through PFR when he is adopted) Buster is a handsome pup with a wonderfully laid-back personality. This sweet boy is a bit of a gentle goof—sometimes clumsy, always endearing—and he’s guaranteed to make you smile. He loves to wrestle and play with one of his brothers, but when it’s time to relax, Buster is happy to just hang out and soak up affection. Buster is currently working on his basic commands and is eager to learn with a patient, loving family. He, his momma, and siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets of a small rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Buster is ready for a forever home where he can continue to grow, learn, and be loved. Meet Rex ! — a bright, confident, pup who’s ready to find his forever family! (REX is currently living in Texas with his foster family, he will be transported through Project Freedom Ride when he is adopted) Rex was the first male puppy to walk right up to his foster and ask for attention, and that bold, loving nature has stayed with him. He’s incredibly intelligent, always watching his foster for cues, and already knows sit and down. Among his brothers, Rex has naturally taken on the role of leader, guiding them with calm confidence. Sadly, Rex, his momma, and his siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets of a small rural Texas town until a kind couple opened their home to keep them safe. Now Rex is growing into a wonderful young dog with so much love to give. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate pup with a big heart and an even bigger future, Rex is your boy. Story
Bruce is guessed to be between ten months and one year old - he is very much a clumsy boy who is learning how to be a grown up. He will, like all dogs, require continued training. That said, he does not have wild puppy energy, though he does love to play, and he knows quite a few asks already like sit, down, and leave it. He walks very well on a leash, and has gotten along with all of the dogs and kids he's met. He doesn't have any cat friends, but, based on his demeanor, it's likely he'll do just fine with appropriate introductions. Bruce is about sixty pounds, and he's working on gaining weight. He also still may be growing, pending his age, so there is a chance he will be closer to a typical GSD-size (70+ pounds). It's suspected that Bruce is a 'pure bred,'* but we don't know for sure, and, also, we couldn't care less. He's perfect no matter what! Bruce is potty trained and is working on crate training. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and diagnostics, on prevention.

Story
Arriving in Wisconsin March 20th! Cheese is an adorable 2-3 month old mixed breed puppy. While his exact breed mix is unknonwn, our best guess is some shepherd due to his coloring and some retriever with his floppy ears. He currently weighs about 9 pounds and we expect him to be large size when fully grown. Cheese was found by a good samaritan and was brought to the shelter in rural Texas. He is excited to make his trip to Wisconsin and find his forever family. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, March 20th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday March 20th. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo or credit cards processed through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. We cannot guarantee breed or age. We assign breed and age designations based on veterinary advice and information from the prior owner.

Story
Meet Deputy — a shepherd puppy with a big personality packed into a tiny body. He’s curious about everything the world has to offer, always eager to explore, and just mischievous enough to keep you smiling. This little guy is affectionate and playful, equally happy zooming around with his dog friends or curling up for cuddles when playtime winds down. Deputy is a smart pup who is eager to learn, and he’s highly food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for him. He’s already working on his potty training and does well going outside when he’s taken out regularly—he’s catching on quickly! Deputy loves making new friends and seems to charm just about everyone he meets. He loves kids and does well with them, making him a great candidate for a family companion. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is curious about the resident cats, often watching them with interest. In return, Deputy promises a lifetime of laughter, love, and plenty of snuggles. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will grow into an amazing companion, Deputy may be your Pawfect Match! Requirements: No Apartments/Condos Deputy is eligible for our Puppy Starter Package, included in his adoption fee. New puppy parents will go home with a small bag of puppy food, martingale collar, leash, a small Mumbies chew, and puppy treats — everything you need to start off with success from day one.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2621170##
