They expected her to stay small but when Pyeongang grew big, they kept her outside on a very short leash to fend herself. Since being rescued, she has been living with a foster family but recently, she was moved to a professional training facility where she is learning to become a perfect member of the family and a companion. Her bright and cheerful personality shines! She loves being with people and chasing her balls or other toys. Her charm makes people instantly fall in love with her. ❤ Name: Pyeongang ❤ Age: 5 years ❤ Gender: Female ❤ Weight: 50 Lbs. ❤ Breed: Golden Retriever ❤ Vaccinated/Neutered: Up to date on all vaccinations, Spayed and Microchipped ✅ Relationship with Adults: Very Good! Curious to meet new people, very friendly and open. ✅ Relationship with Children: Has not met many kids, but her bright personality indicates that she will get along well with kids. We always recommend that adults supervise both kids and dogs during early introductions. ✅ Relationship with other Dogs: Good. Plays well with other dogs. She sometimes become overly excited to meet new furry friends, but she does not “play rough,”. She generally moves away from dogs who seem aggressive. ✅ Relationship with Cats: Unknown. She has never met a cat. Recommend a slow and careful introduction if adopters own a cat. ✅ Potty Training: Currently goes outside. ✅ Energy Level: Moderate. What a happy little love bug! Leo, age 2, is a pocket sized golden retriever mix at 38-40 lbs. He is currently living with his doggie-saavy foster momma and young GR canine sis. He's completely house trained with no accidents at all! Leo has found the joy of playing with sprinklers and garden hoses so he may be a good pool/beach/lake buddy. He is food (CHEESE!) and toy motivated. He walks well on leash although he can get excited to say "hey" to squirrels, cats and other doggos. He is easily redirected and is working on being more Zen. Such a smart boy! Most importantly, he is a huge snuggler and will sometimes flip upside down if there is ample room (and he doesn't need much). His new family will be able to provide good exercise, continue his training and spoil him immensely. This dog will be someone's best friend for sure. Are you the lucky one? We rescued this sweet little girl, her 8 littermates and her mama off the streets a few weeks ago. Mom is a golden retriever but clearly whoever dad was, he had some strong genes! She is now 8 weeks old and ready for her furever home! Purdy is an absolute love and one of the quieter ones in the bunch. She is super patient with her siblings, but she is definitely more interested in playing with the big dogs! She has started to learn how fun toys are and now will regularly run for the toy basket when let out of the playpen. Purdy is a precious little girl and she can’t wait to find her furever people!! He may not have won the Super Bowl, but he wins over the hearts of everyone he meets! We rescued this sweet fella, his 8 littermates and his mama off the streets a few weeks ago. His mama is a golden retriever, but dad is unknown. These babies have some big paws to grow into and they will be big doggies full grown. He is now 8 weeks old and ready for his furever home!
