Story
Niko is almost 6. We adopted him in 2020 from iCare when he was 6 months. He’s a good dog with some quirks that an experienced dog owner would be able to manage. He’s had some training and knows basic commands and is decent on a leash. He’s never enjoyed playing with other dogs but gets along well. Somewhat keeps to himself at dog parks. He can get “obsessive” with smaller dogs. Following them around but never aggressively. In general he’s kind of in his own world. We’ve never really bonded emotionally. Not sure if that’s us or him. A true dog lover would get there for sure. The small dog thing seems to apply to small kids too. He can obsess and not respect boundaries. Nothing bad has ever happened but it keeps us on edge. An experienced dog owner will find him intelligent, loyal and silly
