Scotty has been adopted and his brother requires surgery for a femoral fracture. He has had this injury for quite sometime , nevertheless, based on the x-rays taken, it is 'repairable' . . . I am in the process of raising $2800 for his surgery. One a date for surgery has been scheduled, he will likely require an 8 week recuperation period. If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

12/11/25- Bruce is a little confused, he was purchased as a puppy. The families 2 year old child absolutely loves her due. Unfortunately the 2 year old has had 4 surgeries this year. The family hasn't had the time to delicate to Bruce and the other dog in the home. He is only 7 months old and very sweet and has a calm demeanor. They just want the best for him. He is a gentle soul. He went into the vet and was checked. We are ready starting his vaccinations. The owner said shots were completed but unable to locate the records. He is great with kids , other dogs and cats. Goldens get adopted very quickly. Our rescue does NOT charge an application fee. Please be considerate of our time.
