We sprung Danny from the shelter in San Diego where he came in as a stray in dire need of some TLC. He was severely malnourished at 30lbs underweight with wounds and cuts to his as well as skin and ear infections. Despite everything, this boy has been an absolute love. He is friendly and relaxed with people, happy to interact with dogs, and a real homebody. He is incredibly loving and trusting, and we’re already seeing glimpses of his playful curiosity, gentle energy, and even some signs of past training. He walks beautifully on a leash, takes treats with the sweetest enthusiasm, and shows a natural sense of polite behavior. He has not yet had an introduction to kids or cats, but from his demeanor it is likely he will be friendly with both. Danny would do best in a home with multiple adults that will minimize his alone time as he acclimates to his new life.

Scotty has been adopted and his brother requires surgery for a femoral fracture. He has had this injury for quite sometime , nevertheless, based on the x-rays taken, it is 'repairable' . . . I am in the process of raising $2800 for his surgery. One a date for surgery has been scheduled, he will likely require an 8 week recuperation period. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
