We have had Chestnut (10) in our family for about eight years. I found him at a park one day and he ended up following me all the way home. We searched for his owners for weeks and made sure he received all of his shots but no one ever claimed him so he became a permanent part of our family. Chestnut is a Golden Shepherd and Cocker Spaniel mix and has the sweetest most gentle temperament. He is very calm and affectionate and truly just wants belly rubs cuddles and treats. Chestnut enjoys both indoor and outdoor time and adapts easily to different environments. He is very friendly with other dogs and currently lives with another dog Benji (5) who is a Doberman and Beagle mix. They are extremely close and balance each other well with Chestnut being more laid back and Benji having higher energy. If possible we would love for them to stay together as they have formed a strong bond. Chestnut is food motivated and does well on a dry food diet with occasional wet food and plenty of treats.

Cameron has been neutered and is ready for adoption! He is walking and running around like a regal colt. He has all the characteristics of a classic Golden . . good natured and very social! Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

1/10/26- Bonnie's owner was a female who was going though a divorce. The family was part of the military and she reached out to release the dog. Bonnie is a high energy dog who needs to be exercised daily. Once she gets the fire out she is then a calm relaxed dog. She has always been raised with children. She is good with other dogs but has a prey drive with squealing noises. She does well with other large sized dogs. She is not suitable for a home with cats. She has been to the vet and was checked and cleared. She is crate training as she was an outside dog prior. 1/21/25- Stella came in with a sister from a home that had several dogs. They were left in the back yard and never had much done with them. She is sweet o ce you give her time to warm up. She isnt going to give you kisses instantly. If you are ok with giving a dog love and time. In a day she will be a completely different dog. She has learned how to walk well on a leash. She spent 5 hours at a park with children and adults running all around. She gives a little puppy wimper when she wants extra love. She is extremely gentle and loving.
