Story
My name is Joong bak and I am a playful Retriever mix, aged 3. Sadly, for most of my life, I had to wander here and there, and no one knows where I am from. However, as there is no such a law that lets me die, I met a kind chairman who helped find a place to stay and get fed. Now, I want to move forward finding my forever home and share my happy virus to my family. If I had to sum myself up in one word, it would be 'Energetic!' I find joy in every activity, especially when it involves human companions. There's always a reason to be happy, right? Welcoming people with open paws is my forte, and I thrive on the love I receive through cuddles and, of course, snacks. I'm a snuggle expert, though my excitement can sometimes get the best of me due to my limited experience with humans. Hence, a family ready to handle my high energy level is strongly recommended. While I'm friendly, a household with cats or young children might not be the best fit, as my exuberance tends to express itself through jumping. My friendliness is extended to my doggie friends too. I can share treats and toys with them, and love to smell out each other. Enjoying fresh atmosphere with committed physical activity with friends makes me blessed. Being aggressive or assertive will be the last words you can find from me. I carry no aggression and boast an innocent and pure mind, as noted by my handler. Of course, outdoor activities are my No.1 things to do. I prefer to do my business outside, and I need to consume sufficient energy with intensive exercise which is very Retriever thing. If you can assist me in becoming a better walker, that would be the perfect gift. And imagine the joy we could share by exploring riversides or mountains together! I am waiting for someone who can show me a new world that is full of love and joy. I want to give my happiness and positive energy to the people I love. Would you be my forever family? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeUOCAIekfk&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JyoM0Xd1XCH5Fr-GCde_DYW ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Story
Animal Profile: Raven is a female Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix (best guess), estimated to be 7/8 months old and currently weighing 38 lbs . She and her 3 siblings were surrendered to Freer Animal Shelter and were then taken in by our rescue partner in Texas and are currently in their foster home getting ready for their trip to the PNW to find forever homes. They are good with dogs and people, and doing well with crate training. Raven is shy until she gets to know you, then is a total sweetheart, so will need someone willing to show her the world is a great place to be. Estimating she will be in the 60 to 70 lb range full grown. Due to her breed we will only be considering adoption to families with homes with secure fenced yards ( s uburban/rural environment will be best for her) . Large breed experience and a canine companion preferred. We will post more information as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: C oming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 02/19/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.April 25, 2024, 4:18 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Binks! He is a 1-year-old, 50lb Golden retriever/pit bull mix, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is one big butterball of energy and love! He is very sweet but is strong and can be bouncy and mouthy so he will need an adopter who is committed to working on his overall basic obedience skills with him. He is a lot of fun and will thrive in a household that can provide him the structure he needs to the best version of himself. He does well with other dogs, but mostly enjoys attention from his people. We are recommending no young children due to his bouncy nature right now. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Frank Sinatra from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 1 year old male Golden Retriever - Samoyed mix.  I am approximately 57 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, and friendly.  l was saved from the Korean dog meat farm where I was due to be slaughtered.  I don’t know how I ended up there but I was so scared and I used to hear the cries from the other dogs as they were taken away.  The activists came and saved us and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
