Story
Hi, my name is Martha and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Sep 29, 2023. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Story
Meet Maggie, A Wonder Woman Wearing a Catwoman Mask 🐶 Once a volunteer accidently dropped her leash and let her run away. Within minutes, Maggie returned on her own and gave the volunteer a big hug. She even brought a stick as a peace offering. It is amazing to see Maggie still has complete faith in humanity despite of surviving from Mass Dog Slaughterhouse. Maggie will love you whether you live in a little trailer or a big house. No matter what kind of mood you are in, Maggie can always make you smile. Can you be a special someone to give Maggie a home?

Dog Name: Nova Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Weight: 22 kgs Breed: Great Dane Mix Petit   Spayed/Neutered? yes Vaccinated? Yes  HeartWorm Negative?  yes   Good with dogs? yes Good with kids? yes Good with cats? We don´t know Has experience on a leash?  yes Potty trained? yes Crate trained? no Where does the dog stay when it is alone? At the moment she has to share her space with other dogs as her foster has other rescues in her house and Nova doesn’t have her own space, but she is an independent dog that allows herself to be apart from the pack. Where does the dog sleep? In her foster house in her dog bed on the floor in his designated area. Temperament/Personality: Nova has the most charming personality, she is kind of goofy, sweet, playful, she is the most easy going man dog that gets along well with dogs and kids. What does the dog's ideal home look like? Nova would be great with any kind of family since she is an easy going dog that would adapt pretty easily if the family gives her a chance. What is the dog's rescue story? Nova was rescued form the poor zone of Tlajomulco. At first we though that maybe she had a home but no one asked for her. When Nova was rescued was in heat so we took her inmediately to get her spayed. Nova is waiting in Mexico until a family is commited to fostering her or taking her on a trial. If you are interested, apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org his adoption fee is $550 ##1826501##

Story
*Currently fostered in HOUSTON TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport. Provide a zoom call for you to virtually meet prior to adoption This cuddly, happy go lucky puppy has a pretty sad origin story. He was spotted on the side of the road, leashed to a crate, with all of his items inside. His toys, bed, a bag of food and water bowl all left there on the road side along with him. We were told about him from our family members who saw him as we went to lunch. When we finished a half hour later, we went to check it out and found only a pile of food and some scraps from the bag, and a bowl of water. Clearly thinking someone had come by and picked up, only to see him standing nearby, panting from the heat. Someone had stolen all his items, but left him behind AGAIN! We couldn't just leave him behind after that. So, meet Sokka! This sweet baby is just a cuddle boy looking for a home to call his own! So far, he is loving, well mannered, and super friendly. He likes other dogs, and has met large and small and been great. He clearly hasn't had much interactions with cats, but is respectful and quick to learn so socialization should lead to a healthy friendship! He also has spent time with children and absolutely adores them! So a family home would do great for Sokka! Sokka loves to play and is always ready to have some fun. He doesn't have a favorite toy, because he loves them all! He will even play with sticks if there isn't one around and loves to play fetch! Sokka is all about his people and if he has the choice will stick by their side through any adventure. Though he is just a puppy, he is already learning his basic obedience. He knows how to sit, and to settle when he's being too hyper. He also is fully crate trained and when we tell him it's time to sleep or eat, we say kennel up and he goes to his crate. He is also leash trained and about 90% housebroken! Sokka is fully vetted, meaning he is current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
