Story
Hello my name is Nala! I’m a 10 year old Great Dane. Despite my age I still have a lot of energy! My favorite activities are chasing my ball around the park or just lounging around the house. I love playing with other big dogs, but due to my size I’m not a great play companion with small dogs, cats or children. I’m very well house trained, I never have any accidents or chew up anything. Unfortunately due to my dad’s work schedule and living situation I’m looking for my new forever family.

He loves to go for walks, but can be a puller when he sees other people or dogs due to excitement. Leo is fully housetrained and can be trusted loose in the house. He wants to play with other dogs but needs someone close to his size. Leo is looking for an adopter experienced with large breeds who can give him the leadership and training that he needs. Story
💙 MEET DUKE💙 Duke is an 8-year-old purebred Great Dane rescued from California who just had recent vet care and is need of a foster home or potential adoptive home. This handsome senior boy has so much love to give and truly adores his people. He is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he's by your side soaking up attention. Duke previously lived as a breeding dog and was not socialized with other dogs, so he will need a home where he can be the only pet. He simply does not enjoy the company of other dogs and will thrive best as the center of your world. But he does do well with cats or other animals. He is fully potty trained and lets you know when he needs to go out as well. He has been recently neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and thoroughly vetted. Duke is in excellent health for his age and even had a recent dental completed. He needs a foster or adoptive home where he can relax and enjoy your company.

Story
Location: Spanaway, WA DOB: 6/29/2021 Do you love a lazy couch potato who doubles as the world’s sweetest snuggle buddy? Meet Ember — a mellow girl with a heart of gold! This stunning lady is the full package: Crate trained Potty trained Great on leash Knows her basic commands Can snooze the day away while you're at work Fence-respecting professional Unfortunately, her recent adoption wasn’t the right fit due to the resident cat. While Ember was not aggressive toward her kitty roommate, she was a bit too enthusiastic when the cat wanted to run and play. Because of this, we’re recommending a home without cats or small dogs for Miss Ember. She does wonderfully with other dogs over 30 lbs and would thrive with a confident canine companion. Inside the house, Ember is a quiet little ninja — unless something needs your attention! She’ll give an alert bark for visitors, yard activity, or the occasional “scary” garbage truck or vacuum… but she’s easily corrected and eager to please. She can be strong-willed and will play leader if given the opportunity. Ember will do best with a confident owner who has experience with giant breeds and can provide the leadership and structure she needs to succeed. Ember would thrive in an adult-only home or a home with teenagers who are familiar and comfortable with giant breed Ember is pretty much perfect and SO ready to find her forever couch (…uh, home). Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
