Meet Maggie, A Wonder Woman Wearing a Catwoman Mask 🐶 Once a volunteer accidently dropped her leash and let her run away. Within minutes, Maggie returned on her own and gave the volunteer a big hug. She even brought a stick as a peace offering. It is amazing to see Maggie still has complete faith in humanity despite of surviving from Mass Dog Slaughterhouse. Maggie will love you whether you live in a little trailer or a big house. No matter what kind of mood you are in, Maggie can always make you smile. Can you be a special someone to give Maggie a home?

Story
NAME: Mark Ikagami LITTER: He is last of our "Real Genius" litter. His siblings have all been adopted. AGE/GENDER: Born 9/9/2022), male BREED: Based on the DNA, Mark is a Great Dane, shepherd, lab, husky mix TEMPERAMENT: Playful and mischievous HOUSE TRAINING: Good on a consistent schedule. CRATE TRAINING: Good. He eats and sleeps in his crate. OTHER DOGS: Good! He does love other dogs, but since he's still young, some other dogs may find him a tad annoying. CATS: Good! Continued socialization will be important! CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 12 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00 HEALTH: Mark is healthy! He is altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Mark is a sweet guy, who loves to run and play. He's very treat and affection motivated and wants nothing more than to please his people who help make him feel secure. He can make friends quickly with people but he can be a tad timid in new situations so it's important to give him a few minutes- then he will (literally) be eating right from your hand.   Mark is very dog-social and great with dogs of all ages and sizes and has lots of friends. He is equally as happy after he's done playing, to lie next to you and be the good boy that he is!   Mark has mastered basic training with us and knows how to walk well on a leash, sit, down and is ready to learn more with your guidance! He enjoys walks and he is crate trained and housebroken, which would both be beneficial for him to continue in his new home, especially to help him settle in and relax.   We feel his best home would be one with a person experienced with building confidence in large dogs who has a confident mentor dog for Mark to look up to and learn from. He does truly enjoy being with other dogs and it'd be great for him to have that going forward.     All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar.    Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!   ************************   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-powered, foster-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. WE ARE FOSTER BASED- which means: There is nowhere for you to go to see animals today. Animals are VIEWED BY APPT ONLY. No casual meetings, unless at one of our events. Animals receive one-on-one, 24/7 care in a private, volunteer foster home, which is individualized for their needs  Through their foster placement, we get to know the animals well, which translates to accurate and customized matching service for you! As a private, volunteer home is involved we cannot accommodate same-day adoption meetings or surrenders.  Approved applicants can meet and adopt at an event, but otherwise, an application is still required and must be approved before an animal can go home. He was an owner surrender when Red Waggin' pulled him from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA in early March 2023. He was fast tracked to euthanasia (less than 5 days) due in part, to shelter overcrowding. Since being rescued, he has become the most loving, sweet and goofy dog you ever want to meet. He enjoys going on walks and hanging out with his pack and foster family. He likes to go outside and play, but he also enjoys chilling out with a toy on his bed. He is a sweet and gorgeous love bug, who simply wants love back. In addition, he is house and leash trained. Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video

Story
Sultan is a 3 year old Great Dane/Lab ready to demand your affection! Sultan is a big dog, so that’s just more dog to love! Sultan is 125lbs, healthy weight. Sultan is a very communicative people dog. He will always greet you with a toy and a hero’s welcome. He will thrive in a household if he is an only dog. Sultan currently has a companion dog named Duke that he plays with, but it took him a while to warm up to Duke. Sultan is the pack leader and the dominant dog, so therefore another dominant dog is not his best match. Sultan is playful, confident, and attentive. The reason why I am rehoming these guys is because I am relocating and cannot accommodate them in the move.
