Story

Hello. My name is Hardy! I'm a calmer puppy at almost 1 year old and 64 pounds. I have been told that I'm a master snuggler and like nothing more than being next to my people. I think I might like my foster a bit too much. What does “velcro dog” mean? I do well with cats, though there isn't one at my current foster's house. I don't have much experience walking on a leash, but I don't pull and enjoy looking at the big, wide world. Each day I’m getting better at walking and not stopping in front of you. I’m told that is annoying! And I really love seeing other dogs. They all look like potential playmates. I am still a puppy, so I'm learning what I can and can not chew in the house and found that shoes and socks are really interesting chew toys. I love playing with my foster sister! I try my best to do what I’m told, like “no jumping” and “out of the kitchen”, but it’s hard to contain my excitement sometimes. Therefore, I might be a bit much for smaller children. I haven't had any accidents in the house and go out and do my business in my foster's fenced yard. I’ve also started peeing on walks. That whole thing is new for me. I'm also working on kennel training. I don't mind going into my kennel and hanging out in there if you are home, but I REALLY don’t want you to leave me in there when you leave the house! I’m worried you might not come back!! I want to trust that you will always come home, but it will take some time. I’m told my forever family is out there and I promise to love you and be your faithful friend for always!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Clear the Patch Promo! For adoption applications received now through October 31, 2026, Warrior Dog Rescue is offering a reduced adoption fee of $200 for select adult dogs. These dogs have been chosen for this promotion because they have spent a longer amount of time in rescue, and we want to give them an extra opportunity to find their forever homes.Hello everyone! My name is Rainer. I am a calm and loving 55 lb pup who loves people, naps and cuddles. My foster parents always tell me how I have a calming presence. I love sitting nicely in front of them to receive pets, and sometimes I snuggle my head right into their chest. I am a very smart 1 year old! I know sit, lay down, and if you have a bell by the door I will ring it when I need to go potty. Speaking of potty breaks, I am house trained. I go directly to the door when I have to go, or if I can't get to the door I will look at my foster parents and quietly whine at them. I like to spend my days napping on the couch, playing with my foster brother, or hanging on outside. When my foster mom works from home, I lay quietly by her feet. I sleep nicely in the crate throughout the night and when my parents are away, maybe that's why my foster parents say I am so easy going? I came to MN in hopes of finding a forever home just like my siblings! Will you be my forever home? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. ### Meet Jackie! 🤍🐾 If you’ve ever dreamed of having a gentle giant by your side, let us introduce you to Jackie! Jackie is a gorgeous 3-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix weighing in at **88 pounds of pure sweetness**. While she has some Golden in her, Jackie definitely takes after her Great Pyrenees side—she’s calm, confident, independent, and has that classic Pyr personality. Jackie absolutely **loves people** and is wonderful when meeting new friends. She has a gentle, easygoing nature and would happily spend her days hanging out with her humans and soaking up all the attention. She also has a fun side and enjoys the water, so a little splash time is always a bonus! Now, Jackie does have one thing she’d like to make very clear: **she’s the boss.** 😂 She knows what she wants and isn’t shy about letting the other dogs know it. Because of that, she would do best with another dog who has a more submissive, easygoing personality and isn't looking to challenge her for the executive position. Jackie is the kind of dog who makes an impression—not just because she’s a big, beautiful 88-pound girl, but because she has such a sweet and gentle soul. She loves her people, welcomes new friends, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a big-hearted best friend. If you’re looking for a **gentle giant with a little “I’m in charge here” attitude**, Jackie may be your girl! 🤍🐾

Kovu is a very well-mannered gentleman! He prefers to keep to himself arround other dogs, but is very neutral! He likes to meet new people, and is all tail wags when approaching a new potential friend . Kovu walks really nicely on a leash! Maybe its his size, but he does a natural heel and keeps your pace amazingly! Dont feel like walking? Hes cool with that( he prefers that ) Hes definitely not a runner though , so he would be the perfect addition for someone looking for a large but low energy dog! Hes such a breeze to groom! He behaves perfectly for bathes/brushing/clippings and nail trims, and even does amazing with the blow dryer! He's never has accidents, and is kennel trained! Hell sleep calmly with out a peep! Hey HEY!! We are the Disney pups and we are READY for our FAIRYTALE ENDINGS!! You know.... the "ride into the sunset" kind of endings! That is where you come in! A few things about us first.... we are sweet and loving pups. We were born to a scared mama (Pyrenees) and her resident boyfriend , German Shepherd and we were loved on by an older couple who cared for us until their health took a turn ;( so the rescuers took us in and fattened us up and they LOVE US! But that is not enough for us :) We want it ALL! They call it the "dream package"- a home, a family and a ball gown with glass slippers too! Each one of us has been through the "tried and true" package and we passed with flying colors! So it is your turn to do the right thing and adopt one of us fairytale puppies!! We will be BIG adults and are all fluffy, so must have a hair plan :D Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area(
