All of our foster dogs are kept in individual homes.  Go to our website Bayareasiberian.org to get the foster home contact if you do not see it in the bio. Duke was found about 7 months ago. I didn't want them to go to a shelter so i have been taking care of them until they find a new home. I have been taking care of him since and got him fixed and microchipped. He is a friendly dog and loves walks, running around the yard, retrieving a ball. He is pals with Daisy who will also be listed on this website. They both love eating peanut butter and chewing on rawhides. They love going to the dog park and running around off leash (as long as they are in an enclosed area. The are both very sweet dogs. They get along very well.    This is a courtesy posting- please contact the foster home directly for more information...Kevin- elephantbedding@gmail.com 510-944-9868     Go to BAYAREASIBERIAN.org for contact information on the foster dog.July 22, 2024, 10:17 pm

Story
Chumuelo is a three year old neutered male with a wonderful personality. He is super friendly and loves to play with balls in particular.  He LOVES long walks. If you know Huskies, you know they love to be active. He and his mom are bonded and we are looking for a home for them together. They play well together and that helps burn off a lot of their energy. Huskies make wonderful family pets, but like most of the working breeds, they do best in specific circumstances. We are looking for adopters who have experience with Huskies or other high drive, highly intelligent breeds (for ex:  Doberman, GSD, Belgian Mal, Cattle Dog, etc) Chimuelo, and his mother, Sky were owned by a family who loved them, but who's circumstances changed to the point where they are not able to give them the attention and care they need.  Luckily for them, they are such wonderful dogs that two neighbors stepped up to supplement the attention the family was able to give. Over time everyone realized the dogs would do best with a single home that could give them what they needed - a place and people to call their own.  The neighbors, Craig and Susan, would each love to take them, but they each have cats, and the dogs are not safe with cats.  These dogs were raised in a family with kids and love them.  Throw a ball for him and he will be your friend for life.We are helping Craig and Susan find the right home for this wonderful pair.  (The original owners have surrendered the dogs to them.) You can fill out an application for either of them and it will apply to both dogs. Please note: Chimuelo needs a home with no cats.Chimuelo is ok with small childrenChimuelo needs lots of exercisePrevious medical records are available for Chimuelo.More information & application [ts=1721631608&src=aap]

05/16/24 03:04DOG DAY OUT Today I got to go on another Doggie Day Out! It was the best. My friend knows I like to spend my time sniffing along walks so she took me to a place where there were so many smells! So many! It was awesome. We passed a lot of people and bicycles and strollers and all these new animals like geese and rabbits. They were are all fascinating to me but I made sure to be quiet and polite and just watch. I’m interested in other dogs that we pass, but pass them politely with treats. I love treats! Today was the best. Thank you, friend!Three Words to Describe Me are: Calm, Adorable, CuriousNotes from My Walker: Sully is a fantastic boy! I don’t know why he’s been at the shelter so long. He was easy to harness and hopped readily into the car and was well behaved during the ride. Sully loves leisurely sniffy walks. Sully walks very nicely on the front clip harness with no pulling. Want to enjoy a cup of coffee for your morning walk? Sully is your guy! He loves to soak it all in and enjoys watching the goings on around him and checking out all of the smells. He will definitely show you how to be more present in life! At the shelter, Sully participates in one-on-one playgroups with dogs that match his play style. He is dog selective so we always recommend bringing any resident dogs for a meet and greet. On our walks, we passed many dogs, and Sully passed all of them politely with the encouragement of treats. He is very food motivated! He only got annoyed by a dog that surprised us and invaded his space otherwise he was on his best behavior! He even politely passed rabbits and families of geese!Sully was an excellent Doggie Day Out buddy! I hope he finds someone who recognizes the gem he is!03/01/24 06:56last weeks dog day out notes with SVPP:Today I got to go on my first Doggie Day Out adventure! My friend took me to this great lomg pathwaywith lots of things to see and smell. I loved checking out all the smells! There were so many things tosee - bicyclists, runners, strollers, and dogs. I passed them all politely. I am curious in nature and lovechecking everything out. Some dogs weren`t as polite to me, but my friend knows I LOVE treats so Isat patiently and focused on my treats to let those ones pass. Afterwards, my friend said I was sogood, I deserved a pup cup! So yummy! What an awesome day!Three Words to Describe Me are:Curious, Sweet, FriendlyNotes fr
