FOSTER CARE! My adoption and training fees are 50% off!  Hi there World! My name is Sahara, I am a 2 year old bundle of fun. I am 54 lbs., spayed female husky with a rambunctious personality who's ready for a new adventure. There is nothing I love more than exploring. I would love to find someone with the same wanderlust as me so we can travel together! I get so excited sometimes that I forget to listen, its a husky thing. I would love to be a model citizen but I need help sprucing up my manners. FOSTER CARE! My adoption and training fees are 50% off!  Hi, I'm Thor! I'm a 1 year old, neutered male, Siberian Husky mix and I weigh 51 pounds. Have you ever wished for a dog with the personality of a cat? Well if you have, I'm your wish come true! I'm a sweet and playful boy but I like to take my time getting to know new people. I need to be sure I'm safe before I rub against you for pets. Once I'm super comfortable, I love to run zoomies, play with toys and even jump into water! I love going on adventures. I have good car manners and I'm getting better with my leash manners. I would be the perfect beach buddy! My ideal home would be with someone who is ready for a sweet, energetic pup and will take the time to help me overcome my shyness. As a scaredy cat, I would do best in quiet but active home. I promise to be your best buddy, once I get to know you.  Thor ID# A938350 Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing behavior@phs-spca.org You may also submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. Hello there, my name is Lucien! I'm a 1 year old, 40lbs., neutered male Siberian Husky. I'm an energetic, happy boy that just bounces with excitement and enthusiasm. I'm a playful, silly boy that loves to sing and chase everything! I would love to go home with an active family ready for a new adventure. As a jumpy, overly playful boy, I would do best in a home with older, dog savvy kids (10+) while I continue to work on my manners and impulse control. Before going home, I would love to meet all the members of the household as well as any resident dogs.  Lucien ID# A941386  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Story
Hello World! My name is Halle, I'm a 1 year old, 37lbs, spayed female Siberian Husky who is ready and rearing to go! I'm a playful bundle of energy that can't help but bring a smile to your face with my silly antics. As you can see from my beautiful picture I only have one eye but that doesn't stop me from leaping and bounding all about. I would love to go home with a family that has experience with Nordic breeds like me and is ready to help me with my overall training and socialization needs. For the moment I would do best as the only dog in the household until I have really worked on doggy meet and greets. I would love to meet the whole household before going home and due to my overall excitable nature and jumpiness I would do best in a a home with dog savvy kids 10+. Story
(Approved by shelter) Hi! Nyla is a beautiful 19-month Siberian Husky. We are fostering her since January and she’s feeling highly better than when we got her! She is really nice with adults/children, know the basics (sit/down/up/stay/stop). She is house-/crate-trained, can stay alone for a moment but will start to feel anxious about separation. She’s active, playful and good on the leash. We were stressed at the beginning because we had never trained dogs but everything went very well, she is a very well-behaved husky. If you feel like she could be a good match to you, please contact me! I’m happy to provide toys/mattress and helps coordinate things! Thank you for her!

Story
Star is fostered in CA. Star is great with dogs, but having energy can play excitedly and may not be a fit for puppies or elderly dogs. Star is a gorgeous girl with brains and energy to match! She might be blind, but that doesn’t slow her down at all. She navigates just fine and all the important things (food, sniffy walks, petting) don’t require sight. Star also had a couple of seizures, which the vet is calling idiopathic epilepsy since no other cause was found in testing, so she takes Keppra and that has prevented any more episodes. She has already learned a lot of words, including: focus, sit, step, and walking. Given her puppy energy level, she would love to be in a home with another dog her size or bigger and no small children or cats. Star *loves* meeting new people and dogs, exploring her environment, eating, walking, and snoozing in her crate or in the car. She is still learning to be the best dog, but she is a quick study. She needs a family experienced with Huskies or similar breeds who are willing to continue her education. If you are active and ready for an energetic beauty, contact us to learn more about Star! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
This gorgeous Husky boy is ready to be your new best friend! Hiro is looking for a new home because his current guardians can no longer care for him. He is very loved and looked after. This sweet guy is only about 3 and a half years young and weighs in at about 50lbs. He gets along with small female dogs and is best as a solo dog. He would best thrive placement in a home not with another male dog due to his lack of confidence. But people are where Hiro really shines. He'd love a home where he can soak in plenty of love with his humans, joining you for outings as well as cuddle time. Hiro would do best in a home free of kitties due to his excitement in small critters. Hiro is crate trained and settles in well when left home alone- no destruction or anxiety here! Are you ready for Hiro to join you on your next adventure? Hiro is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, house trained, knows basic commands. He is a very sweet dog. He knows commands to sit, down, stays, gives paw, potty outside, and loves praises. She loves meeting new people. If you are interested in learning more about Hiro, please contact Veronica at by email at Princess_vw@yahoo.com

Story
I, dear people, am the puppy of your dreams! Do you love mystery, adventure and quests? I am the perfect 20#, short haired, bright blue eyed baby boy companion for every stroll and dance!  I love older children and dote on their conversations.  I am currently learning a lot about games and play in my foster home; I’m going to be an avatar did you know that?! I don’t know what that is, but my foster boy says I’m so cute I’m going to be the perfect model. I'm just 5-6 months old. I am a wonderful new addition to rescue and am happy to learn, stroll, play fetch and jump into your lap!  I was a little scared of the resident big dogs but after a little bit I found out they LIKE ME! Everyone likes me! They say I’m awesome and sweet!  Do you want to find out? Can we read mysteries and go on trail quests together? Or maybe you like the urban adventure? I’d really be up for a puppachino in the park or on the couch anytime! How about this week? Come meet me and we will be the bestest buds! I love you already! Signed, Mr. Devid BISBY, puppy extraordinaire If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

Story
I'm a professional dog trainer who is currently fostering Asha, a dog I've been working with for a few months. Her previous owners had to give her up, they were elderly and had mobility issues so were unable to keep up with her energetic personality. Asha is about 5-6 years old but still has a very youthful personality. She loves to be outside and explore and always has a smile on her face when she's on a walk! She's been coexisting peacefully with my dogs but I've never seen her around cats. She is a bit slow to warm up to new people but she is very expressive and affectionate once she befriends you. She has a bit of sensitivity to being pet or handled too quickly/roughly in certain situations so a family with young children might not be the best match. I've been working with her everyday to desensitize her to that sort of thing and also warm up to strangers quicker and I'd be happy to continue working with her new owners post-adoption absolutely free of charge!

Story
Dozer is a fun big boy!! He is 7 years old. Super healthy. He is looking for a new home because I have a dog care business and Dozer is over it. He loves our 1 on 1 time in the evening but he is miserable when he has to share his space. When we are out running with the pack he is happy happy. Dozer loves all adults and teens. I’m not sure how he would be with young kids. Dozer is E- collar trained and amazing recall with it (I only use vibration) I’m very sad to let him go but it’s too hard to watch him upset because he wants his own space and humans I know he will make someone really happy, he is a lovable goofy boy. He is happy with 1 big run everyday and happy chilling if you are.
