She is about 22 lbs and her mom was about 22 lbs and her dad was about 30 lbs and she is a Klee Kai puppy. My name is Oso and I am 3 years old. Did you know Oso means bear in Spanish? Neither did I. I got my name because I like to give bear hugs but I think it's because I'm so furry like a Teddy Bear. Gee, I thought I was a doggie but that's ok. I like my name that my foster Mom gave me. And being I'm so smart I've learned it already. I'm in a foster home that has a young boy that I can play with. I love it when we play ball but I don't have much space to run around. See, my foster home is an apartment which really isn't ideal for a Siberian Husky like me, but my foster Mom knew I needed help. See, someone in her neighborhood was giving me away. She didn't want me to fall in the wrong hands. She knew I was lovable, playful and super smart. She said, let's put him into rescue and I'll find him a perfect home! So, while my Rescuers look for a perfect home I like to play and hang out. We go for walks. I'm pretty good with our walks. I bond REALLY well with my Human and I can walk off leash but don't think it's something that happens at first time. My foster Mom is my Leader and I follow and listen to everything she tells me. I would highly benefit from doggie training. I know the basics but when I get my new family, we all have to learn how to keep me a good dog. Remember I'm smart and if you show me the way I will be your Star Student. But if you let me do what I want I might cause trouble. Even though I'm a purebred Siberian Husky I'm really a good boy. I'm somewhat quiet in the house but I do talk back. Hello? Siberians are chatty! I also know how to open doors. My foster Mom and I think it would be funny if I learned how to get a cold bottle of water from the fridge. I think if you teach me how to do I will master it. I'm good with other dogs but my play mannerisms might need some correction. See, I like to hump other dogs. It's my play method and my foster Mom monitors me really well. She watches to see if the other dog corrects me and most times they do but if it gets to be too much, she gives me a correction and I listen. I've been around cats and I will chase them. It's more on the thinking "hey they are running, why can't I?" Some cats are ok with a playful dog and if you have a kitty that doesn't mind that then I have a new friend. But if you don't maybe I'm not your guy. One day I am going to have a family of my own. I will never have to worry about someone saying "hey, here's a free dog". I won't ever have to leave my family. I hope my new home has a big yard for me to run around and has a high fence, so I'm not tempted to jump over low fences. Maybe my forever family will be experienced Siberian Husky Owners and they know when I talk back that's just my genes. They will know what grooming I need (surprisingly, Oso doesn't shed much). Meet Cleveland, he is absolutely adorable and one very sweet pup! He’s friendly, playful, healthy, energetic. He is super sweet and submissive. He does have lots of energy and wants to play but he also wants to learn as well. Older children beat because of his size he may knock little ones over. Two of his siblings adopters had DNA test done and we are confident in his breed mix and this makes for a wonderful dog. He is primarily Husky (results stated father was pure breed Husky) and his mom primary rottie mix with a smidge of boxer. He needs a home that is active has a large fenced yard and maybe even other doggy friends to play with as well. He is a high energy boy so if you’re not active or not home enough to help him release his energy then you won’t be able to Keep him happy. He’s is a lover and can be a couch tater as long as he is given ample opportunity to release any pent up energy by exercise and mental stimulation. Fenced yard is best for him and not a short fence as huskies tend to jump pretty high. A five foot fence or more would Be sufficient. An apartment would not be ideal for this athletic boy. He needs space to run and get his zoomies worked out. Lol Located in east TN. Out of state adoptions are welcomed for additional fee. Transport is available to many areas in the north east as well as the Great Lakes region. We use Rescue Riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Please apply at petpath.org

Alegria is a sweet, 7 year old Siberian husky that is looking for her forever home to live out her golden years. Alegria loves being outside any time of the year. Like typical huskies she has plenty of energy and loves going for a walk or taking an adventure to the dog park. She would love a yard that she run in freely to burn off some of that energy. Alegria is fully vetted, potty trained, crate trained and does not get on furniture. She does well with cats and dogs with proper introductions. She can be anxious in a new environment and will require some time to decompress. Though Alegria did live with children, we think older children may be best (but would be open to the right fit).
