Because of this, she is looking for a home with a playful resident dog who can handle her energetic Husky play style and show her the ropes. Violet is house trained, loves the security of her crate, and is still working on her leash manners (she’s a puller!). With a confident dog mentor and a gentle adopter, this diamond in the rough is ready to truly blossom. I am 40 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Melody is a gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel safe—and once she does, her personality truly shines. Found as a stray in Texas, she can be a bit shy at first, but with slow, thoughtful introductions and a patient heart, she blossoms into a loving and playful companion. She warms up quickly with gentle petting and a few tasty treats, making it easy to win her trust. With a medium energy level, Melody strikes a wonderful balance—she’s always up for some fun and enjoys playing, especially with other dogs, but she’s just as happy to settle in for some cozy cuddle time. Her affectionate nature makes her a perfect fit for someone who appreciates both a playful spirit and a snuggly side. If you’re willing to give her a few minute she will open up and reward you with loyalty, love, and plenty of joyful moments. Adoption Donation: $450 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
