Story
Keegan is a young bouncy boy who is as nice as he is energetic. While it was pretty apparent when he came in to us that he was not given a lot of training in his previous home, he obviously was loved as he has a great personality and is a very loving boy. He is a diamond in the rough kind of dog-he needs to learn some manners (and he is a quick learner) but with an active home that will give him exercise and structure, he'll be a well trained boy in no time. Keegan is good with other dogs and great with people. He might knock over little ones in the home so until he is a bit more trained, older kids are probably best.

Story
Dolly came in with her sister Willo, but they are not a bonded pair and can be separated. Dolly is a very social girl with a typical Siberian personality, which means she loves other humans and does great with other dogs. She does seem to be a bit confused about young kids so for now, we are looking for a home with school age children and above. Dolly walks well on a leash, and is house trained and crate trained. She has nice house manners and is all ready for adoption.

Story
Willo is a darling girl who takes a bit of time to warm up to her humans. She is a little hesitant at first, but after a couple hours, she'll approach for pets. After a couple days, she'll come running for attention and sleep at your feet. She very very VERY much wants to be with her people, she just needs a little reassurance that you are a friend. But once she trusts you, she is a typical silly Siberian. Willo came in with her sister Dolly but they are not bonded and can be separated no problem. Willo currently lives with several other Siberians and does fine with them but she could be fine as an only dog as well. She is house trained and crate trained and has very nice house manners as well as walking pretty well on leash. She is all ready to be adopted!

Story
Foxy is as sweet as she is gorgeous. She came in with another Siberian-Freya-when their owners surrendered them to a high volume facility. As sad as that is that they ended up there, it is obvious from her socialization and manners that she was a loved member of the family. Foxy can be a little wary at first meeting, especially with me, but after a bit warms up. She is good with older kids but is a bit overwhelmed with youngsters. Foxy gets along well with other dogs, is house trained and crate trained. She is past the crazy puppy energy stage but she is still an active girl. If you are looking for a walking partner or someone to keep you company, apply for Foxy now!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Marina is looking for her furever home that she can call her own. She's house broken, crate trained and knows some basic commands. She will need a strong positive leader, previous Husky experience preferred, and will do best with no kids and no small animals. She does get along with some dogs, mostly older laid back males, but will do fine as an only dog. Do you have a place for Marina to live out her retirement years with?

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Jack came in to us several months ago from Chicago animal control where he was surrendered by his family. He was severely underweight, and had uncontrolled diarrhea and vomiting. Despite vet care at AC, they could not find a cause nor get the symptoms under control so he came to us. Our vet suspected EPI. Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency is a medical condition where the pancreas fails to produce or release enough digestive enzymes to break down food and absorb nutrients so the food just goes right through the dog. The treatment is a simple powder put on Jack's food, daily, which gives him the enzymes he needs. This will most likely be a lifelong treatment, but the good news is that it is inexpensive (about $20.00 a month) and it works! Jack was about 25lbs underweight when he came to us, and has now gained most of the weight he needs to be in a healthy weight. We got the OK to get him neutered a few weeks ago and he is now completely vetted and ready to find his forever home. Jack is a tall boy and once in proper weight he should be about 65lbs. He is a very friendly and social guy who loves pets and hugs. He gets along well with other dogs (has not been tested with cats or tiny dogs) but would be fine as an only dog as well. He also walks pretty well on a leash and is not an obnoxious puller. Now that he is healthy and happy, he is ready for his forever home.
