Terra is a very sweet, cute Husky Mix, possibly Husky-Shepherd. Her estimated date of birth is July 4, 2021; at the time of this post, she is about 1 ½ years old. She weighs about 50 lbs. Terra is typical Husky through-and-through. She is active, somewhat high-strung, and loves being outside. When she is by herself, she is overall well-behaved…given she’s a younger Husky. She can get carried away and become obnoxious when engaging with other dogs. As such, she is most likely to do best being an only dog. She is not a dog-park dog. While playful and energetic, Terra is also very affectionate. She enjoys people and does pretty well when meeting people she does not know. As is the case with all young, larger dogs, Terra would greatly benefit from obedience training which can also be a bonding experience with her new family. No doubt, Terra has the potential to evolve into the perfect pup, but is looking for that family willing to commit to her and provide her the forever home she deserves. Terra is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed & microchipped and on year-round heartworm prevention. Daniel is a sweet, loving guy who also has an adventurous side that loves to explore and wander.  He enjoys going for walks and spending time in the backyard with his people or taking car rides to explore more of the world around him.  Daniel is looking for a family or individual who will take him out on adventures to placate his wanderlust and then snuggle with him at home. He will need a family willing to continue working with him on training.  He would also benefit from having other dogs around. Gwen is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Scroll through her pictures to see her cute videos! Gorgeous Gwen, that is what we call her! Gwen comes to us from Tennessee and she is a real PYT. She has those stunning ice blue husky eyes, but has a shorter coat so she is a mix of something else too. Either way she is lovely and very sweet and meek. Gwen is a dainty girl who is easy on leash and calm. We see flickers of her true husky nature in those morning "Aroooos" she greets us with! We have already seen her blossom so much, and she is especially playful with other dogs! One on one she is so much fun with a dog. In playgroup she was intimidated at first by so many dogs, but after about ten minutes was play bowing and wrestling with our rowdy ones, as you can see in our videos! We have been using her to test some of our other dogs because Gwen is friendly and takes cues so well from other dogs. She is a perfect companion for any type of dog. Recently, one of our staff members who has four dogs of all types of personalities took her home for a sleepover, and Gwen had a ball and everyone liked her! Gwen is one of those rare amazing dogs who can really read a room, and can be calm or playful. With people, she is always just lovely! Gwen's adoption fee is $250. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
