Story
This sweet boy came from a hoarding situation near Cameron, Missouri, and was transferred to our shelter for a second chance at life. He came to us fully vetted so he is ready to go , Trumpet is about 6/7 months old. He is ready to take off to his forever home—one where he can finally enjoy the comfort of being inside, instead of out in the cold. Trumpet does amazing when meeting new dogs and has shown positive interest in some of the cats in our lobby, though he hasn’t had full interaction with a loose kitty just yet. We believe he’d do well in many homes, and kids would be a great fit for his fun personality. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving pup who’s ready to leave his past behind and start fresh, Trumpet is your guy

Story
I’m looking to rehome my roommates brother’s 3 and half year old Siberian Husky Zuko. He doesn’t have a place to keep him and I can no longer keep him at my apartment. He’s a very sweet, playful dog that would thrive in a more active environment or just a home that can give him more attention.

Story
Mara is a 6 year old Siberian Husky. She has beautiful blue eyes, and loves to run and play! She's a little small for a husky at only 38 pounds. Like most huskies, she has plenty of energy. She loves to go on walks, play in the snow, and run at the dog park. After playing, she'll curl up next to you on the couch for some much needed rest. Mara at a glance - House trained - yes - Good with dogs? - Yes - Good with people? - Yes - she loves meeting new people and giving out kisses. - Good with kids? - Yes - likely best with older kids - she can be a little territorial around food and our little ones are constantly dropping things on the floor. Why we are looking to re-home: We got Mara as a puppy and have really enjoyed the last 6 years. Unfortunately, we have two small children now, and just don't have the time to give her the attention she truly deserves. She wold love to meet you!

Story
Hi… I’m BG 💕 I’m about 3 years and 8 months old, and if you’re looking for a best friend who will adore you forever… I think we might be meant for each other. Let me tell you a little about myself. First of all—I LOVE people. Like, really love them. If you enjoy snuggles, kisses, and having a loyal shadow who thinks you’re the most amazing human ever… I’m your girl. I’ll happily listen to everything you have to say (I’m actually a great listener), and I already know important words like “sit,” “no,” “get down,” and my personal favorites… “good girl” and “who’s the prettiest, smartest girl?” (Spoiler: it’s me 😄) I’ve got the perfect mix of chill and playful. I can relax and cuddle like a pro, but when it’s time to play—watch out! I love fetch, walks, and car rides. Basically, if you’re going somewhere… I’d like to come too. I get along with other dogs and I’m very gentle. I might be a little curious about cats (especially the fast, zoomy kind), and squirrels… well… I haven’t met one I didn’t want to chase. What can I say? They look like they want to play! I’m house-trained and kennel-trained, but honestly, I’m such a good girl I can be trusted to hang out at home while you’re gone. No funny business here. People say I’m beautiful (I mean… have you seen my big ears and bright pink tongue? 💁‍♀️), but what really matters is my heart. I’m sweet, loyal, and a little protective of my humans—in the “I’ve got your back” kind of way. I’d make an especially great companion if you’re looking for a dog who will make you feel safe and loved. Oh—and I have a tiny little snore when I sleep. It’s adorable, I promise. So… what do you think? Do you have a spot on your couch (and in your heart) for me? Love, BG 🐾

Story
I got Kia when she was 6 months old, back when I was in high school. She's now 6 years old, born in August 2018. She's a very well-behaved, sweet dog. She's house-trained and lets you know when she needs to go to the bathroom by barking. She loves getting love and attention and gets along very well with children and other dogs. I'm not sure about cats because she hasn't been around any. I'm looking for a new home for her because we can't keep her anymore, and we're not giving her the attention she needs. I want to find someone who can take better care of her than I can. During the summer, flies bit her ears, even though we gave her something for it, and they're a little damaged, but she's fine now and they've healed. She's also a great companion and loves being inside the house as well as going outside.
