Drax is a very playful boy but does get separation anxiety when left at home alone. He loves running laps in the back yard and playing with any toy that squeaks. He's around 3 years old and does well with smaller dogs but not so well with dogs his size. He is moderately house trained. If left alone for long periods or if a lot of company is over and he is overstimulated he might have an accident. He loves butt scratches and belly rubs.

Have you ever wanted an oversized, living, breathing stuffed animal? Hop on over to our KCCAC location to meet Malena! This fluffy but skinny mini polar bear is very sweet. She is ready for a forever home of her own! Malena has had owners before, but we don`t know any details of that home life. She is estimated to be about 4 years old. She is 71 lbs, but Malena assured us that just means there`s more of her to love!So far, she seems more interested in affection than treats when she gets time with people. She likes to lean in for more lovin`. She has been tolerant of other dogs in play group and enjoys chasing games with similarly minded pups. She may be able to go to a home with other dogs. We have no information on how she does with cats.Like all our adult dogs, Malena will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. Come fall in love with her at our Zona Rosa adoption center. Malena is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
