COURTESY LISTINGCOURTESY LISTINGPlease contact Timothy Casteel 816-853-0482for more information! Hi! My name is Henry James. I’m a ten month old Siberian Husky. I am full of energy. I play well with my dog friends. I have not been around cats or children to know if I am compatible. My current mom and dad adopted me last June. They have worked really hard to find the food that I like, to crate train me, to house train me, and to love me. I really love, love, love to play - inside and outside. My mom and dad had a life change that will take them on the road for extended periods of time. Because of this, I’m looking for a new forever home. My new home will need to continue working on my training. I come when called; I sit on command; I show them what I want through my behavior. I am neutered and my vaccinations are current. I am walked on lead with a harness. My backyard is rather large. That is where I run free. Mom and dad don’t let me run free outside. I like being with someone, and I like hanging out in the yard by myself. Please contact my dad for additional information. Story
Max, a 5-year-old husky, is available through City of Raytown Animal Services. They say he is the most amazing husky they've ever met! No, really, he's pretty darned awesome-- Max is playful, but so calm. He comes when you call him and is happy to lounge in the sun or the snow. He knows commands like sit, stay, and down. He's housebroken, walks very well on a leash, and likes kids and other dogs. (Max is not a fan of cats, though. No one is perfect, right?) He loves his big goofy brother Koda, and they play very well together. We would love for them to go home together, but we know that might not be possible, and it isn't necessary. The boys will be happy in separate homes, too. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you'd like to meet Max. He's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus My Friends at Wayside say: - I`m a social girl who is the life of the party!- During my time at Wayside, I`ve enjoyed being around other dogs.- I already know some commands!- Volunteers say that I walk well on leash here at the shelter.- I have enjoyed car rides with volunteers while on field trips from the shelter. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. Hi there! My name is Artemis, and I’m a social girl who loves being the life of the party! I thrive when I’m around other dogs and really enjoy making new furry friends, whether it’s playing together or just hanging out. I’m smart and food-motivated, which means I learn quickly and already know a few commands so I’m ready to impress you with my tricks and good manners. I also love attention and spending time with people, but I’m just as happy exploring on my own every now and then.I walk really well on leash here at the shelter, and I love our outings where I get to sniff, explore, and take in all the sights and smells around me. Even though I enjoy socializing and being part of the fun, I have an independent streak. I like to follow my nose, investigate new things, and have little moments to myself. It’s my way of keeping life interesting! I think it’s important to have a balance between playtime, cuddles, and freedom to wander a little. If you’re looking for a clever, friendly pup who brings energy, curiosity, and joy into every day, I might just be the one for you. I’ll be your adventure buddy when you want, your snuggle partner when it’s cozy time, and I’ll respect your space while enjoying mine. Life with me is full of excitement, learning, and just the right amount of independence. I can’t wait to meet you and see what adventures we can share together!Love, Artemis
