Meet Avi! He is the true meaning of rescue. Avi used to live with an abusive owner, until we changed his path! He has come so far, and has been clicker trained, but is still healing and will need a patient adopter who is willing to continue his training. He is about 10 years old and weighs around 55 lbs. He loves everyone he meets, but is not good with children or cats, and doesn't understand why they move so fast. He is slow to trust, but very playful and affectionate once he knows he is safe. Avi will jump a fence that is smaller than 6 ft tall, and will need long daily walks. He currently lives with and loves his boxer bulldog mix foster brother, but knows he is the pretty one! A home with another playful husky or other dog similar in size would be ideal! HUSKY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. CANNOT BE PLACED WITH CHILDREN OR CATS. Meet Sausage Sam! Hi! My name is Sausage Sam but my foster parents call me Sam or Moose (if you know, you know.) I am a 4 Month Old Male Husky Mix and I currently weigh 10 lbs! My foster parents found my brother (Dean Jimmy) and I playing in the road, and told us that wasn’t a safe place for us to play. They took us home, fed us, and gave us baths because mom said we were stinky. I am a very smart boy and very curious. I like to sit and watch the world around me. I learned how to use a pee pad, go potty outside, and go to my crate when mom asks. I love to run and play with my brother and my foster siblings until I get sleepy and love to snuggle up on the couch and take a nap. Rope toys are my favorite, I love playing tug! I am very brave and will protect you from leaves squirrels ï¸ and Amazon drivers! I’m great with kids and other dogs. I haven’t been around cats before, but mom thinks I would be happy with any new friends to play with! I didn’t get to eat as much as I needed to before my parents got me, so I eat very quickly now and do not like to share food. I do best eating in my crate where I feel safe! I am FULLY VETTED! I am a very good and sweet boy and can’t wait for my forever family to take me home!
