I`m a laid-back girl who`s all about the simple joys in life. Give me a quiet creek to explore, and I`m in my element. I love long walks by the river where I can listen to every rustle, sniff every new scent, and just take it all in at my own pace, but I`m just as happy lounging around and taking it easy most of the day. I`m definitely very food motivated, and while toys are okay, I`d rather be out exploring or relaxing with my favorite human. One of my absolute favorite things? I adopted blizzard from the shelter February 2025. She is 2 years 8 months old and is the sweetest dog. She will cuddle up with you and sleep for hours. She doesn’t bark and does great with our cat. She has issues with going to the bathroom and some separation anxiety. She needs someone who will be able to put a lot of time into her. She would make a great family dog and is extremely sweet and cuddly!

Meet Avi! He is the true meaning of rescue. Avi used to live with an abusive owner, until we changed his path! He has come so far, and has been clicker trained, but is still healing and will need a patient adopter who is willing to continue his training. He is about 10 years old and weighs around 55 lbs. He loves everyone he meets, but is not good with children or cats, and doesn't understand why they move so fast. He is slow to trust, but very playful and affectionate once he knows he is safe. Avi will jump a fence that is smaller than 6 ft tall, and will need long daily walks. He currently lives with and loves his boxer bulldog mix foster brother, but knows he is the pretty one! A home with another playful husky or other dog similar in size would be ideal! HUSKY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. CANNOT BE PLACED WITH CHILDREN OR CATS. I was found by my "owner" many years ago, but was abandoned by him when he broke up with his girlfriend and she inherited me..to put it nicely.....
