Aurora is a sweet-natured, gentle and social lady. She offers soft body language and readily greets people with a smile and gentle tail wags. On leash, true to the breed, she can pull strongly and does better in front-attaching harness. Aurora does check in with her person and enjoys eating tasty treats. When meeting new dogs, she displayed social and neutral body language. She previously lived with other dogs and will likely do fine with other mellow dogs after proper introductions but has shown a high prey drive and would be best in a home without small animals. Aurora appears to be a Siberian Husky, however without a DNA test we cannot confirm that she`s a purebred. She is approximately 6 years young and currently weighs 62 pounds.

Life doesn’t need to be complicated. Give me a comfortable home, a nice porch to sit on, and some good company, and I’m perfectly happy. I get along well with other dogs and cats, and I’m polite with everyone I meet. I haven’t spent much time around kids, so I’m not quite sure what I think of them yet, but I’m such a gentle soul that I tend to take things in stride. I’m crate trained, though I don’t actually need to be crated when you leave the house. I’m trustworthy and calm when I’m on my own. I would do best in a stand-alone home with a fenced backyard, because I really enjoy having a yard to look out over and explore. One of my favorite things in the world is simply sitting on the back porch and watching the yard. The breeze, the smells, the quiet—it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon. I also enjoy walks and car rides, though I prefer them on the shorter side since I tire out pretty easily. Now, about treats… apparently in my previous life I was introduced to something called people food. I must admit, it left quite an impression.
