Story
Lucky Age: 3 yrs | Weight: 55 lbs | Breed: Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky Mix) Status: Neutered, Fully Vaccinated, Up-to-Date on Preventatives Lucky is a vibrant, healthy, and loyal companion who has been a cherished member of his family since he was just six weeks old. Due to worsening allergies in the home and an unavoidable change in work schedules, Lucky is looking for a foster (or forever) home where he can trade his crate for more "zoomie" time and companionship. 🌟 Personality & Temperament Lucky is the perfect blend of his breeds: independent, curious, and deeply affectionate. He is a "people dog" who has never shown aggression toward humans or other animals. Vocal & Communicative: In true Husky fashion, Lucky likes to talk! He may give a low growl when it’s time to go into his crate—not out of aggression, but as a "vocal protest" because he’d much rather stay out and play with you. Everyone’s Friend: Lucky is great with other dogs, we are unsure how he does with children and cats. Alert & Attentive: He takes his job as a doorbell notifier seriously and will bark at strangers or footsteps at the door, though household sounds like the vacuum don't phase him. A Little Storm-Shy: While he’s fine indoors during bad weather, loud environmental noises like thunderstorms or large garbage trucks can make him anxious while on walks. 🏡 Life at Home Lucky is a "good boy" when it comes to house manners. He is house-trained and is not destructive when left alone. Crate Profile: He is fully crate-trained and sleeps there comfortably at night (usually starting around 8:00 PM). He currently spends 6–8 hours in his crate during the workday, but he is looking for a home where he can have more freedom and activity. Energy Level: High! Lucky loves his fenced backyard and enjoys being active. He is manageable on a leash but is always ready for an adventure. Training: He’s a smart pup who already knows Sit, Hug, High-Five, and “Let’s go outside.” 🏥 Health & Wellness Lucky is a healthy boy with no known allergies or chronic conditions. Monthly Maintenance: He stays protected with monthly Simparica trio (flea/tick/heartworm). Veterinary Records: All records are up-to-date and available for his new caregivers. 🛌 Ideal Foster Match Lucky would thrive in a home where: Someone is home more often or has a shorter workday. There is a fenced yard for him to burn off his Pomsky energy. The family enjoys an active lifestyle and can continue his basic training. A Note from the Family: "This was not an easy decision. Our goal is simply to find a home that can give Lucky the time, exercise, and attention that fits his wonderful personality. He has been loved since day one, and we want to see him flourish."

Story
CinnamonFemaleAge: 1 yearEstimated Full Grown Weight: 40-50 lbsBreed: Husky/Pocket Bully Hi! I’m Cinnamon — sweet, smart, and always ready for fun or snuggles (especially snuggles!). I’m a cuddly puppy with an eager little heart, and I love being around people, kids, and other dogs. Whether it’s playtime or quiet time, I’m happiest when I get to share it with someone I love. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I walk very nicely on a leash. I haven’t spent much time around cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think of them, but with a careful introduction, who knows? I might do just fine. I adore bones, toys of every kind, and anything that lets me play, learn, or chew happily. I’m a very smart girl with a big eagerness to learn new things — training sessions are actually one of my favorite activities because I get to use my brain and make you proud. But my number one favorite thing in the whole world? Cuddling. If there’s a soft blanket, a comfy couch, or a warm lap, you can bet I’ll be right there curling up beside you. I’m a loving, intelligent puppy with so much joy to give. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who’s equal parts playful, bright, and affectionate, I’d love to be your new best friend. If you are interested in meeting Cinnamon apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org. To help me find the perfect match, I’m eligible for Cause for Canines’ Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. You must be an approved adopter to participate. Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2581420##

Story
RogueFemaleAge: 1 year oldWeight: 44 lbsBreed: Husky Mix Hi, I’m Rogue — your sassy, snuggly, adventure-loving best friend. I’m a fun, energetic girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I love being part of the action, whether that means going for walks, hopping in the car for an adventure, meeting new people, doing zoomies, or playing with my dog friends. I’m also a world-class cuddler and a bit of a Velcro girl — I just really love being close to my people. I do well with other dogs, kids, and even cats. With cats, I just need a little guidance and slow introductions at first. I do best with confident kitties who know how to hold their ground, and with the right setup I can live happily alongside them. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I walk well on a leash. I’m a smart girl who does best with structure, consistency, and an active family that can match my energy. I would thrive in a stand-alone home where I can be myself, and I do best when I’m crated while my people are away. Because I love companionship so much, I’d be happiest in a home with another pup friend or with people who are around often. I’m currently working on my separation anxiety, and having a dog buddy nearby really helps me settle and feel secure in my crate. With support, routine, and patience, I continue to make great progress. As I’ve gotten more comfortable, I’ve also let a little of my husky attitude show — I’ve definitely got some opinions, and every now and then I like to sing the song of my people when I don’t want to be left out. It’s all part of my charm. Some of my favorite things include freeze-dried treats, collachews, hard chews, non-rawhide chews, cuddling, zoomies, playing with Sadie, going on walks, meeting new people, and car rides with the wind in my fur. Honestly, if you’re going somewhere, I’d probably love to come too. My dream home is one that will include me in everyday life, keep me active, and appreciate my affectionate, spirited personality. I’m a loving, loyal girl who is ready to be someone’s sidekick, cuddle buddy, and adventure partner all in one. If you’re looking for a best friend with a little sass, a lot of love, and endless enthusiasm for life, I might just be your girl. If you’re interested in meeting Rogue, apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2703389##

Story
Missy and her Brorher Keeba are looking for a home together is possible. Bonded Pair. Missy is 9 yo this year, but still acts Like a puppy a majority of the time, she loves to run and is one of the most loving attention seekers you will find. Her chest and belly are her weak spots…. Scratch there and she is in heaven! Like any dog, the Komondor she needs that hair brushed!!! I am rehoming them due to my work schedule over the past 12 years and after the passing my their sister China, I realize that they need and deserve far more attention that they currently get. I am at work 13-16 hours a day 5-7 days a week and they deserve a home where they get the attention they crave and to not be confined to the small 5’x6’ room they are currently kept in.

Story
Meet Kibo! Kibo came to us along with his mom and brother as strays. We aren't sure how this furry family ended up on the streets, but Kibo is ready for a fresh start! Kibo is an independent guy that prefers exploring to snuggling, but once he gets to know you he's happy to show off his truly goofy and playful personality! Kibo has a very Husky-type personality, and he's looking for a family that will appreciate his quirky nature. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Kibo home. If you are interested in meeting Kibo, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
