Meet Blake! If you're looking for a big, fun-loving Husky who will play with you all day long, here's your boy. Blake loves to play with people, toys, and other dogs! As a big guy who is very eager to make friends, Blake can come on pretty strong, so would do best with another social dog. A meet and greet with any dogs in the household is always recommended. Blake is eager to learn and would benefit from positive reinforcement training to work on his skills and manners! He came to CHA through our partnership with ASPCA. Blake is a gorgeous 2-year-old who weighs 72 lbs.

Story
Meet Flame! This eye-catching pup is always up for a good time. He's got plenty of energy to spare, so he'd be a great fit if you're looking for an active companion to join you on runs, hikes, or other outdoor activities. Flame is a typical husky, and he'll require lots of mental enrichment and physical exercise to keep him happy. He promises to bring you plenty of snuggles in return! Flame enjoyed spending lots of time outside in his previous home. That's right-- his beautiful orange color is all natural. No spray tans for this guy! While it's not required, we do think Flame would do best in a home where he has access to a safety fenced space where enjoy the great outdoors. Flame has lived well with kids in the past, and we think he'd probably enjoy having some little ones to keep him company in his new home. He's done well with other dogs here at the shelter, but he can feel a little overwhelmed by paws-on play. He'd prefer to meet with any future canine roommates first to ensure they'd be a good match for his playstyle. Ask an adoptions counselor about scheduling a dog-to-dog! If you're looking for a rough-and-tumble pup who is sure to make you laugh, then Flame is the guy for you! Come say hi to him today!
