Story
HollyFemaleAge: 11 MonthsExpected Full Grown Weight: 36-40 lbs.  Breed: Husky Mix Hi there! I’m Holly! I’m a happy, fun-loving girl who’s always ready for adventure! I’ve got lots of puppy energy, so I’m looking for an active family who loves to get outside and play as much as I do. Walks, hikes, chasing balls — you name it, I’m in! I’m a social butterfly and get along great with other dogs, kids, and even cats (though I might give a friendly chase now and then — I just can’t help my curiosity!). I’d love a dog buddy or an active human to keep up with me. I’m both house-trained and crate-trained, and I’m working hard to remember that not everything is a toy (I still have a bit of that puppy chewer spirit!). I absolutely love bones and anything crunchy, and my favorite toys are chew bones and balls to chase. If you have a yard, I’ll be your zoomie queen — running, fetching, and playing to my heart’s content. A fence would be awesome for my playtime adventures, but it’s not a must if you can give me plenty of exercise and love. I do like to “chat” a little when I’m left alone, so I’d do best in a home with no shared walls (no apartments or townhomes, please) — just to keep everyone happy! I can’t wait to find my forever home — one where I can explore, play, and cuddle up after a day full of fun. If you’re looking for a smart, silly, and affectionate companion who’ll keep you laughing and moving, that’s me. If you are interested in meeting Holly apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2502567##

Story
Lady NymeriaFemaleAge: 3 yearsWeight: 73 lbsBreed: Siberian Husky / Alaskan Malamute Hi, I’m Lady Nymeria! You can call me Meery Moo Moo — that’s what my foster parents say when I do my adorable little woo woo (hey, I’m a husky, it’s kind of my thing!). I’m a gentle, sassy, and smart lady who loves belly rubs, squeaky toys (especially my stuffed turkey!), and curling up next to my humans for some quality cuddle time. I’m house trained, walk nicely on a leash, and know all the important things — sit, down, shake, stay, and come. I also like to add my own flair now and then, because let’s face it, I’m an independent woman who knows what she wants! I get along well with other dogs and cats, and while I haven’t officially met any kids yet, I have a kind, gentle nature — so my foster parents think I’d probably do just fine. I’d do best in a stand-alone home, though, since I’m a bit of a talker and like to express myself. When I’m not showing off my smarts or snuggling with my people, you can find me watching squirrels out the window, going for walks, or lounging on the couch like the queen I am. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful, slightly sassy companion who will love you endlessly — and keep you entertained with my charming woo-woos — then I just might be your girl. If you are interested in meeting Lady Nymeria apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2563602##

Story
Meet Monday! She is a t month-old husky/ hound mix who weighs 42 pounds. Monday arrived at CHA when her owner could no longer care for her. She still has a lot of puppy energy, and loves to play. But, she is also super affectionate, and loves to cuddle and spend time with her people. Monday has a prey drive, and needs to be in a home with no cats or small animals. However, she does love other dogs! Monday is an extraordinarily gentle player, and she has made so many doggie friends while at CHA. She even loves to play with the smaller puppies! Monday is a good girl who just loves everyone she meets. Come to CHA today and see if she`d be a good fit for your family.

Story
Sassy is currently at county pound but we will pull her if we can find a foster.Sassy and 8 other dogs were taken from abusive owners. Prior to being seized, Sassy lived indoors and never went outside. We have a volunteer who has gone to the shelter and has taken Sassy for walks and reports that Sassy is a wonderful dog! She is good on a leash and loves belly rubs.Sassy needs to be on a strong leash at all times. She gets spooked easily (remember, all of this is new to her) by cars, loud noises, etc.Sassy is approximately 40 pounds. She has been spayed. Sassy lived with dozens of cats prior to being seized and taken to the shelter.Apply to foster Sassy and help her learn to trust people and gain confidence at ricopetrecovery.org
