Story
Loki is a handsome 10-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart as beautiful as his fluffy coat. Although Loki is starting to lose his vision, he hasn’t let that slow him down or take away his love for life. He’s still a happy, sweet boy who enjoys his days and is always ready for some affection and fun. Loki is incredibly soft and gentle, with a wonderful personality that makes him easy to love. He enjoys playing, walks nicely on leash, and is an all-around great guy. Loki is open to meeting other pets and kids of any age. He would love a family who will give him the patience, kindness, and support he deserves as his vision changes, and in return, he’ll give you a whole lot of love. If you’re looking for a sweet senior Husky who still has plenty of life and love to share, Loki would love to meet you!---If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women`s Animal Center to fill out an application in person. Story
This beautiful girl needs a very special home. Casey had to be trapped and rescued because her owner just left her running to fend for herself. She came in very skinny, infested with fleas and ticks and terrified. It has been a slow process gaining her trust and making her feel safe, but we do feel it`s time to let her find a loving home where she can continue to heal and recover from her neglect. That being said she is dog friendly and seems afraid of cats. Currently she is going to be a flight risk and should be handled as such. She should not be left unattended in the yard, leash walking even in the yard at first. Very young children may be to scary for her right now but older kids that can understand her would be ok. Very quickly this little lady will open up and become a great addition to any family. Are you the one who will give her that chance?

Story
Teddy was adopted as a puppy and what should have been the start of a happy life quickly turned into something heartbreaking. He was found tied up and abandoned in a parking lot. Teddy was brought to the safety of a local shelter by the humane Society and, instead of getting the fresh start he deserved, his adopter sued to get him back. That litigation placed Teddy on hold as unavailable for adoption and forced him to spend eight long months of his puppy-hood in a shelter kennel. Teddy did not get to fully experience being a carefree puppy. But he's ready now! Ready for a couch, ready for stability, ready for someone who will never let him feel abandoned again! Despite all he's been through, he is gentle and loving, he is resilient, he still believes in people and he's ready to be someone's dog! Teddy needs a committed forever home, a family, patience and positive guidance to now learn about being the pet he was meant to be and about being in a home where he is loved, safe and cherished. He's already learned about the goodness of people at Dog Boarding at the Beach. They said he's an AMAZING dog. Highly intelligent, playful energy, and a mischievous sparkle in his eye. He has a BIG PERSONALITY and since being at Myrtle Beach he has learned about being the social butterfly. He is one of the favorite playmates on site. He's fun and loves all the dogs as well as his handlers. This pup is so ready for someone to teach him about being in a loving home!

Like most puppies, Truman is full of curiosity, playfulness, and all the classic puppy anticsexploring his surroundings, learning new things, and occasionally getting into a little mischief along the way. He is currently working on house training and making steady progress with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Truman is smart, eager to learn, and will thrive with routine and gentle guidance. Truman is looking for a family who will embrace both his puppy energy and his sweet nature, offering love, structure, and plenty of time for play and cuddles.
