Story
Meet Our Energetic Sock-Thief: Friendly Young Husky! The Basics: • Age: Born May 27, 2024 (approx. 21 months old). • Breed: Siberian Husky. • Health: Up to date on all vaccinations; no known medical issues. • Personality: Friendly, lovable, stubborn (in the best way!), and high-energy. About Him: Our boy is the definition of a "people person." He was born in Kansas and joined our family via Virginia, and he hasn't stopped wagging his tail since. He is incredibly affectionate and plays well with others. While he has matured past the "puppy destruction" phase of house-training, he still has one favorite hobby: stealing socks! He especially loves "borrowing" his baby brother’s socks, so he’ll keep you on your toes and keep your laundry room interesting. Reason for Rehoming: This is a heartbreaking decision for us. Between a new infant, apartment restrictions, and recent financial changes, we can no longer give him the time and space he deserves. Our priority is finding him a loving family

Story
This is a sweet boy dumped in a random neighborhood. He is a little shy but is friendly. He has not growled, snarled or shown any anger to strangers. Not sure if he is house trained but can learn. He loves to play, run around a yard and just have some fun. He has done well on some walks and loves the freedom to be outside. A routine is best for him to adapt and flourish in a new home. He is ready to find a forever family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
💜 Meet Shera – The Warrior Princess of Joy 💜 Shera is about 3 years old and has already lived a life that would break most—but not her. This beautiful soul survived a gunshot wound to her rear leg and spine, leaving her with some special needs. But don’t let that fool you: Shera’s spirit is unshakable, and her happiness is contagious. Rescued from a life of cruelty by one of our incredible Texas fosters, Shera is now thriving in a home filled with love, safety, and second chances. Her foster mom says: “The complete joy of her happiness is astounding. Her disabilities don't slow her down—she makes my day brighter morning, noon, and night. I wish every one of you could have a Shera.” 💫 Shera loves other dogs and cats 💫 She has to be carried out to go potty, but doesn’t let that stop her 💫 Her signature bunny hops will melt your heart (watch her video!) 💫 Despite her past, she has the most amazing personality—sweet, funny, and full of love 💫 Always making her foster mom smile Shera isn’t just a special needs dog—she’s a special soul. She’s proof that love and joy can survive the worst circumstances. If you’re ready to be her forever hero, she’s more than ready to be your forever sunshine. 🌞

Story
FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED Mama December found herself on the euthanasia list at a South Texas shelter due to a broken leg that was mangled beyond repair. She arrived with several little puppies, all of whom have since found homes. No one came for December, so we committed to her rescue to ensure she would not be put to sleep. She went into temporary foster care with a local veterinarian in Texas, where she underwent a rear leg amputation. She has now recovered from surgery and is ready for a more permanent foster or adopter. Finding her a place to go will also open this foster home for the next urgent dog in Texas, making this just as important. December is a young, mid-sized shepherd mix. She is learning life as a tripod and seems to be adapting well. She is currently in a foster home with several dogs and cats and is getting along nicely with everyone. Please let us know if you would consider fostering or adopting this sweet girl. She is a really nice dog! See #December0141 on Facebook for her other posts. 💙
