Cooper is an almost 3-year-old, 65lbs, white Husky with beautiful blue eyes. This boy breaks the mold by being easygoing, not noisy, rarely howls, and is very calm. He is very loving, human oriented, seeks affection, and enjoys cuddles. He’s good with children, and cats. He is good with dogs 25 lbs or less. He is not good with large dogs. Cooper is NOT a dog park candidate due to this. You must find other ways to give him the enrichment his breed craves. Cooper is always excited to receive visitors in the house and might knock a few things around doing his love dance, so teaching him place, and other impulse control commands, will help curb his enthusiasm. He usually settles after the initial excitement. He loves his walks and can be very excited puller on leash. His new owner must commit to working with him on leash manners. He is not leash reactive unless it's a larger hyped up dog; he doesn't care if it's a smaller dog. He can be redirected as long as the other dog is not getting reactive. Cooper has no known resource guarding concerns, is not bothered by storms or fireworks, he rides well in a car, and can be trusted left uncrated around the house. Naturally this kid is nuts about snow and cold weather :) And it’s a no brainer to say, hot weather is not his thing. He enjoys watching TV especially shows that has animals or animal sounds.
