Hi, my name is Neuf and I'm from Minnesota. From his foster: Neuf is a happy, spunky little guy. He loves to play with squeaky toys, other dogs, and run around in our yard! He’s very smart and very responsive to training since he is highly food motivated. We have been working on basic obedience and he has been picking up everything quickly! He does amazing in his crate overnight. He will whine and bark a bit before settling down, but always makes it through the night quietly. He is fully potty trained and goes to the bathroom right away when he is let out! He has some separation anxiety, which is completely understandable for a dog moving around so much. He really just wants to snuggle up to his humans and be near them. I’m certain that when he is in his forever home he will be able to work through this quickly. He is also a bit vocal when he hears new sounds in our neighborhood, and when he meets new people, but he settles down after a few minutes. He has been known to chase cats, so probably not a good fit for someone who has them. He is good with other dogs! Unsure about very young children, but I’m sure he would do well with children that are a bit older and would want to play with him! He is a good boy with so much love and snuggles to give his future family. You can’t help but smile when you see him and his little tail wagging!

He looks like a golden retriever/dachshund/terrier mix, but also has a strip of curly fur down his back. He is 100% adorable and pretty darn perfect! Currently about 20 lbs., he will likely end up around 24-30 lbs. Sloan is a confident and exuberant guy, good with all people, kids, and dogs alike. He hasn't met any cats yet, but he'd likely get along with a dog savvy feline. He is a big fan of food and is fun to train. He is doing well with housetraining, but is still making friends with his crate. Though he loves to play and go for walks, he is happy to settle down for some couch time too. He loves to stay close to his people and is hoping for a home where he can sleep in the same room.
