Once Izzy has chosen you as her person, she is very loving and protective. Whether you are getting home from being gone for hours or just getting out of bed from 2 feet away from her, she will let you know just how happy she is to see you with her extremely fast wagging tail and little love grunts as she dances around you. Izzy LOVES her toys. She typically likes to carry her miniature hedgehogs around in her mouth as she goes about her day, inside and outside. She seems to really enjoy car rides and is usually very quiet and calm until you get to your destination and then she ready to go. Izzy loves walks and sniffing and for the most part can be easy to take on walks until she sees other dogs and then her protective side comes out and she is quite reactive. Izzy is a huge fan of routine and change can be hard on her. Izzy's past has clearly taught her that people can be scary but with patience and time she is slowly learning to trust. Izzy currently has two foster siblings (a male Shih Tzu mix and a female Beagle) and does well with them. Izzy does best with a calm companion dog that she can take cues from to help her with her anxiety. No cats or kids.  He is typical JRT and has energy and needs to be kept busy.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.Pepito is a very sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix who is about a year and a half old. He is fully grown and weighs only 22 pounds. Pepito can be dog selective, especially with larger dogs. He would be best with a home that has a dog near his size or is the sole dog. The energy of smaller children frightens him, so that should be avoided. He walks well on a leash, is kennel trained, and is a great cuddler and gives the best hugs.
