Story
**COURTESY LISTING**CONTACT HALLIE770@GMAIL.COM **813-466-9449 Stella is approximately 8 months old. Has all shots, and spayed & microchipped. About 45-50 lbs. She is probably best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive to ALL dogs but she is toward my one dog. My other dog she is fine with. She loves to cuddle, loves to play fetch & will bring the ball back to you as for long as you will throw it. I got her she was about 10 - 12 weeks old. Someone had found her tied to a tree. From the start she has shown some skiddish-ness - if you come at her too fast she will cower. I don’t know how she was treated at the beginning of her life but I just don’t think it was well. She is crate trained (during the day)- she was sleeping in my bed so if she is in the crate at night she cries and barks. She is house trained - won’t potty in the crate or in the house through the night. When she goes out she wants to play and will sometimes forget to potty. If she does go in the house she will go to the puppy pad. I love her so much. I am so, so sad to do this. I feel absolutely awful to give up on her. The fact that she is so aggressive toward my 10 year old lab is just not something I can fix. I have tried. I have done what I can. I am in fear of another fight, I feel like my life & well being is being affected as well as my old dogs well-being.

Story
Burt arrived at our rescue last July in rough shape—underweight, heartworm positive, and with a torn ACL that needed surgery. Over the past year, he’s gained healthy weight, completed heartworm treatment, and recovered from ACL surgery. Now, he’s finally ready to find a home of his own. Burt is an easygoing, well-mannered dog. He is potty trained, doesn’t need to be crated, and gets along with other dogs—though he prefers relaxing to playing. A calm home with a mellow dog would be the best fit for him. Burt is 11 1/2 years old, weighs 63 lbs, and is Lab/Pit Bull mix (our best guess). If you think Burt could be a good fit for your family, visit www.rescuerowinc.org to apply! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2124712##

Story
Meet Sugar—formerly Bernard, now pure sweetness. I fostered and adopted him at just 4 months old, and now, almost 1 year old (DOB: 01/06/2025), he’s grown into the best kind of companion. Sugar loves everyone he meets and has endless energy for playtime. He’s smart, toy-obsessed, and hilariously good at pointing you toward the treat spot when he wants one. At home, he’s gentle and polite—never begs for food (except his true love: chicken). He’s fully housebroken, asks to go outside by gently licking your hand, rarely barks, and never disturbs your sleep—he wakes up only when you do. Sugar prefers wet food, does best without bones, and loves curling up nearby, always facing you. Sweet, smart, quiet, and loving—Sugar is truly the best. 🐾

Story
Meet Noel, our happy 15-week-old Lab mix pup (as of Dec 29th). She is cuddly, playful, sweet, smart, super friendly and full of love to give. She loves to play with other dogs, big and small, but would also do well as an only dog. She is used to playing with our kids who love carrying her around and cuddling with her. At 28lb, she is one of the bigger pups of the litter. She sees herself as the protector of the group and is also the one with the strongest survival instinct, finding the best hiding places in the yard. It’s hard to believe that the strong, happy and thriving pup we have now is the same scared pup we found along with 2 of her litter mates abandoned in a box in a culvert at 4 weeks of age. She weighed only 3lbs, had not been weaned, had fleas, mange and worms, and couldn’t stop shivering. She is now a healthy pup who can’t wait to meet her forever family. We are currently taking applications, if you think she might be the missing piece of your family, the first step is to fill out an application at the link below. It is not a commitment to adopt her, just a means of introduction. Once we receive your application, her foster parents will reach out to discuss the process and plan a meet and greet. https://ffar.wufoo.com/forms/application-to-adopt-a-dog-from-ffar-plano-tx-copy/

Story
Meet Dasher, our happy 15-week-old Lab mix pup (as of Dec 29th). He is cuddly, playful, sweet, smart, super friendly and full of love to give. He loves to play with other dogs, big and small, and is used to playing with our kids who love carrying him around and cuddling with him. He is not afraid to approach other dogs that are bigger than him, he is curious and loves to meet new dogs, approaching them very gently to figure out if they want to play with him too. At 30lbs, he is the largest pup of the litter. He is the perfect balance of playful and cuddly, enjoying one just as much as the other. He is definitely not alpha, letting his sister Noel take that role in the pack. He’ll usually let his siblings eat first before he approaches the food bowl and is pretty accommodating to other dogs’ preferences and play style. It’s hard to believe that the strong, happy and thriving pup we have now is the same scared pup we found along with 2 of his litter mates abandoned in a box in a culvert at 4 weeks of age. He weighed only 2.5lbs, had not been weaned, had fleas and worms, and couldn’t stop shivering. He has now been treated for all these conditions at his foster home and under veterinary care and is back to full health, ready to find his forever family. We think he would do best in a house with another dog to keep him company because he really enjoys being near and playing with others, but he could do well in an active house too that would keep him stimulated. If you are interested in Dasher, the first step is to fill out an application at the link below. It is not a commitment to adopt him, just a means of introduction. Once we receive your application, his foster parents will reach out to discuss the process and plan a meet and greet. https://ffar.wufoo.com/forms/application-to-adopt-a-dog-from-ffar-plano-tx-copy/

Story
Introducing Coco Mann, a handsome 5-year-old boy weighing in at 76 pounds. Coco may be a little nervous when meeting new people, but he truly thrives in the company of someone who is home often or has another dog companion. We have found that apartment living may not be the best fit for him, as he benefits from having someone around to spend time with. Coco's journey began when he was found in the outside kennels of the Fort Worth shelter during a time when they were asking dogs to be moved due to frigid temps. Recognizing the need for immediate help, we took him into our boarding facility for temporary housing. However, after seeing what a wonderful dog he is, we couldn't bear to send him back to the shelter. With open hearts, we made the decision to bring Coco into our rescue, where he now awaits his forever home. Since arriving in our rescue, Coco has shown us what a great dog he is. Currently living in a foster home with other dogs, Coco may feel a bit nervous around little children due to their fast movements. However, in new settings, his disposition is adorable, submissive, and happy. With time and patience, he continues to gain confidence and is now thriving on the leash. Walking beside you, Coco has become quite the pro! Coco is a couch potato by nature, but when it's playtime, he will entertain himself endlessly with a toy. He loves tossing it up in the air and engaging in playful antics. Additionally, he has shown good compatibility with cats, although proper introductions are highly recommended as each cat's personality is unique. While we're uncertain about how Coco would do with young children due to his nervous nature, we believe he would be just fine with bigger kids over the age of five. His loving and good-looking demeanor makes him an ideal companion for a family ready to give him the chance he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate buddy, Coco is waiting to steal your heart. Don't hesitate to reach out and give this deserving pup a forever home filled with love and understanding. #AdoptCocoMann #RescueDog #ForeverHomeNeeded All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at http://dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process. being out in the sunshine. What a great companion he will be for a lucky family.
