Story
He is a very well behaved boy. Chocolate lab, we have had him since he was 8wks old, he is now 4yrs old. We are torn apart about having to rehome him. he is our baby and unfortunately due to traveling for work are needing to give him away. we have tried to leave him with family and friends but have seen that he hasnt been well taken care of. we are away for months at a time and though we do not want to give him up, its what would be best for him. he is very loving and loves to lay next to, on or near us. loves to go for walks. Is great with kids as we have a 14month old and is a gentle giant with him. We have left him with a sitter who had kids and we were told they became besties! We would love a good loving and active family for our sweet furbaby.

Story
Meet Bullet, affectionately known as Big Bertha, a gentle giant with a heart as big as her frame! Born around April 6, 2017, this lovely lady is believed to be primarily a Black Lab mix, though her impressive size and striking looks suggest she might also have a bit of Newfoundland, Great Dane, or Mastiff in her. Bullet has a sleek, medium-length coat that's perfect for petting. She is the epitome of a well-mannered companion, being leash trained, potty trained, and having a calm, low-energy demeanor that makes her an ideal match for both adults and considerate children. Bullet thrives with boundaries and doesn't appreciate being manhandled, preferring a gentle touch and respectful interaction. She is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs, getting along splendidly with her canine companions. However, Bullet isn't fond of cats, so a feline-free home would be best for her. Since coming into foster care on April 6, 2024, Bullet has shown her love for sunbathing in the yard and enjoying leisurely car rides. She's always up for an adventure, but she also treasures her couch time, where she'll gently nudge you until you make room for her. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and gentle companion who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, Bullet is ready to join your family and fill your days with warmth and joy. Adopt Bullet, and you'll have a steadfast friend who's always up for both adventures and cozy couch cuddles. July 26, 2024, 7:42 pm

Peanut PeteMaleAge: 2-3 yearsWeight: 52lbsBreed: Terrier/Lab Mix Hey there, I'm Peanut Pete. I am a sassy and spunky boy who is house trained and crate trained. I get along great with kids, but I'm just not really interested in them. I am dog friendly with slow and proper introductions and time to decompress and I should be good around cats too. I am great on leash for walks with my foster mom. I love going on walks, car rides, and playing with my foster brother. He has taught me so much about how to be a dog. I think a fur sibling and a fenced in yard would be amazing but not necessary. I pretty much love nothing more than to give hugs and kisses. I'm just looking for someone to share my love with. If you are looking for a dog who is sweet and smart and an extra great cuddler, I am your guy and I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me all the love I deserve! If you are interested in meeting Pete, apply to adopt him at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##1912007##

Story
BugFemaleAge: 14 monthsWeight: 41 lbsBreed: Lab Mix Hi! I’m Bug! My foster family says I am a Cuddle-Bug! I wag my tail when you call my name & I will crawl in your lap to snuggle on the couch. I get along with other dogs and cats. I have not been around kids to know how I would do with them. I am house-trained and crate-trained and don’t mind sleeping in my crate, but I do love sleeping in bed next to my humans (sometimes I nose my way under the covers). I walk well on a leash and really love walking around the neighborhood. When you say “walk” I get so excited & start dancing! My favorite toy is any kind of ball (especially bouncy or squeaky ones)! I can play fetch with myself and according to me, any time is a good time for fetch! When I was just a young pup, my previous owner was not kind to me and I needed medical care to survive. That chapter is now behind me and I am such a happy dog, but because of that background, I do take some time to warm up to new people. I will give a friendly bark to greet new people, but once they’ve paid the “treat tax”, I quiet down and bring a ball for them to play fetch with me. I also LOVE to eat and have learned how to sit and wait until I’m told its ok before I eat. I have lived with a variety of other foster dogs and love to play with them. If you are interested in meeting Bug, apply to adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##1892497##

Story
FalcorMaleAge: 10 monthsWeight: 41 lbsBreed: Lab Mix Hi! I’m Falcor. I am a sweet, energetic and goofy guy who gets along great with other dogs and cats and kids of all ages.  I am house trained and crate trained (I can be left alone for the duration of your normal work day) and I walk well on a leash too. I am a happy guy and I get pretty excited about just about everything – including mealtime and when I am playing. I don’t have a favorite treat because I enjoy everything I am given. The same with toys. I enjoy all of them. I know commands too! I know: “sit” and “crate” and I am working on “shake”, “wait” and “stay”. Even though I love to play and play some more and I like taking my walks too, I am a great cuddler and melt into a puddle on the floor when I get my big floppy ears rubbed. Oh, and I really enjoy joining my family for all activities like visits to breweries, parks and taking car rides! I cannot wait to find my very own active family who will teach me new things as I continue learn and grow.  If you are interested in meeting this energetic yet cuddly guy, apply to adopt him at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##2073105##
