Pure bred silver lab. he is 8 yrs old. we have 3 older kids, busy schedules and he's not getting the attention he used to and probably needs. last couple years counter surfing has become a problem. eating everything he can get ahold of including foods that are harmful to dogs but luckily he's has no issues. is fully house trained but last year he has been peeing in our basement and kids rooms when we are not home. bell on back door he knows to rings when wants to go out. It's like he's having separation anxiety. We are looking just for a loving household. He loves affection and is EXTREMELY athletic even for a lab. VERY good looking lab. know a lot of Commands sit, stay, shake etc.

Please stop by to meet Lexi at the Avon Hollywood Feed, Saturday February 7th 11am-2pm!! Lexi is a beautiful, sweet Black Lab mix. She is small at 47 lbs. Lexi is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly preventatives. She was found as a stray with her brothers Luke and Duke. Lexi is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows "sit" but will need some basic training. Lexi is very smart and learns fast. She loves other dogs and is currently in doggie day care at Paws by the Lake. She is a little shy at first but once she gets to know you - she is your best friend! Lexi would do best in a home with a fenced in yard, not electric. If you are interested in Lexi, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Lexi would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process. Meet Luke! Luke is a super sweet and smart Lab Shepard mix. He is 60 lbs and approx. 9 months old. Luke is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Luke was found as a stray with his brother and sister, Duke and Lexi, also posted for adoption. Luke is eager to please his human and very trainable. Luke is in a fantastic foster home and has learned all his basic commands; sit, paw, heel and stop. He will sit patiently in his place for his food and is working on new commands daily. Luke walks well on lead and loves to play fetch. Luke is crate trained and goes to his crate well. He sleeps in it overnight and surprisingly likes to sleep in! He is housebroken too. Luke has energy spurts and zoomies like all young dogs, but for the most part he is happy playing with a toy at your feet, or cuddles up for long naps in your lap or his favorite spot. He is pretty low key for a 9 month old dog. Luke will chew on items left on the floor (a house is a new environment for him) but he is quickly learning what he can and can’t have. For now, though, he can’t be left free in the house unattended so he should be crated. Luke would do well with another dog or a bustling family with kids or a couple that has time to play! She came to another rescue as a stray, but it’s clear she’s ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family of her own. Jamie walks well on a leash and enjoys spending time with people. She’s sweet, affectionate, and gets along well with others, making her an easy fit for many homes. With her gentle nature and happy demeanor, Jamie would make a wonderful companion. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
