Sophie found herself at the local dog pound and was rescued from there. She has lots of energy and needs a fenced in yard. an experienced dog home would be best for her. Small children would not work for her since she is so energetic. Big kids would be better

Dobby found himself homeless as a puppy and he had to be trapped with a humane trap since he did no really trust people. Can you blame him? He got tossed out probably for being a normal puppy. Anyway, Dobby has since recovered nicely, is a very sweet boy and he now loves people. He does need to be obedience trained, so a first time dog owner is not recommended. He is under 2 years old and really deserves to be in a home. A shelter is not a place for Dobby. Please consider adding Dobby to your home. Meet Jamie! 🐾 Jamie is an adult lab mix with a friendly, loving personality. She came to another rescue as a stray, but it’s clear she’s ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family of her own. Jamie walks well on a leash and enjoys spending time with people. She’s sweet, affectionate, and gets along well with others, making her an easy fit for many homes. With her gentle nature and happy demeanor, Jamie would make a wonderful companion. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Meet Jeri, a 1 year old male lab mix. He was found with his brother we are assuming Ben. He was not wearing identification and is not microchipped. He is very loving and full of hugs and kisses. He will need a little training on leash walking. But he is a quick learner. These two handsome boys are looking for their forever homes. Please come in and ask to meet Ben and Jeri today. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.
