Clocking in at under ten pounds, Pizzelle is an energetic, playful, and spirited Maltese. He was saved from a puppy mill bust where over 100 dogs and puppies were living in deplorable conditions. Since he has not experienced life outside of the mill, he is very shy when he initially meets new people, but he LOVES other dogs and enjoys playing with his canine friends. Once he accepts you as non-threatening, his skittish side disappears and he shows just how loving of a sweetie he can be. Pizzelle is looking for a forever home with another canine companion (or two) to provide him additional comfort and a buddy to wrestle with. He is a sweet boy and would love a quiet home with a patient owner to call his forever. Will that be you?

I’m looking to find a new home for Gizmo, my 10-year-old Maltese. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he’s always been part of our family. Due to significant changes in family circumstances over the years, I took him in when I moved into my apartment. Unfortunately, I’ve learned that he has developed severe separation anxiety, and with my current work schedule and apartment setup, I can’t provide the stable environment he needs. Gizmo is a healthy, well-behaved boy who deserves a loving home where someone can help him work through his anxiety. He would do best in a home where his occasional barking or howling won’t disturb neighbors. He’s a little spoiled but he’s a fast learner and loves attention. I’ll also provide all of his supplies to make the transition easier, including a 6+ month supply of his kibble, his bed, toys, and grooming supplies. We’d love to stay in touch and check in from time to time, if possible as he means a lot to our family.

As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. *** My dog`s name is Winston, and he is a maltipoo who is 10 yrs old going to be 11 this year. Hes been around a cat previously for 5 years and they got along well. He hasn’t been around a lot of toddlers. He needs a lot of attention and would do well with someone who is retired or works from home. Both of my kids are grown and moved out and I’m taking care of my mother who has Alzheimer’s by myself now. I don’t have the bandwidth to give him the attention he deserves and that’s why I’m looking for a home for him. He’s only 7 pounds and a lot of fluff so he can run in between your legs so not good for someone who can trip easily. He is a lap dog and is perfectly content just cuddling with someone. He does have a high-pitched bark and loves to talk when he’s excited. He is neutered and up to date with all shots. He did have bladder stones and he’s on a vet px diet and is due for his 4-month checkup to see if he has any left which I’m taking him to in another week. He just had a checkup, and his teeth cleaned end of last year. He’s in good health and very friendly. He doesn’t like to be on his back, so you have to hold him like a football but loves to be in someone’s arms. He is crate trained, and pee pad trained. I keep a pad in the bathroom for him in case, but he will go outside if you take him out regularly and as soon as he’s done eating. For adoption information, please email momi1600@gmail.com.

Crate trained: Squash does best free-roaming in a safeguarded (no access to stairs, trip hazards etc) space when home alone. Leash walking: He has seemed fearful on leash and would likely do best with access to a fenced yard Dog social: He lives with respectful dogs in his foster home and has done well in co-existing peacefully with them Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown, but he may be most comfortable with slightly older kids given his limited vision Squash likes: - Napping in a cozy spot - Snacktime - Building trust with his people Squash is a super laid back guy, but is still adjusting to all of the newness around him...and to navigating the world with limited vision. He is very sweet and working hard to open up as he acclimates to his new environment, and would appreciate a patient adopter who can help him along the way! Squash has been diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease, which is a chronic disease that will likely require lifelong medication to manage it. He had his right eye removed while in our care, and is suspected to have little or no vision in his remaining left eye. Noah is a puppy known as a Malchipoo, a maltese/chihuahua and Poodle pup. He is a loving little guy who will start out a bit shy. He was born in a commercial breeding facility and dogs not have the same puppy experiences a dog might have that was born in your home. He wasn't exposed to the same things at an early age. That being said, he is learning and adjusting well now that he is with us. He is a happy guy who loves to play with his mates. He will need house training and regular training like any puppy would. He is best suited for a home rather than an apartment or condo setting. Noah is a little guy causing him to be more fragile, He can't be in a home with little kids but would be fine with older kids. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Noah important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Noah is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $600..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Liam wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a very flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits.
