Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills. With his sweet nature and eagerness to connect, Myles is sure to make a wonderful companion. Myles’ adoption fee is $400. Since then, Marlin has blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. He absolutely adores toys and will happily keep himself (and you) entertained. He also gets along wonderfully with other animals, making him a great addition to a multi-pet home. Marlin is still working on a few basics—like learning to walk on a leash—but with patience and love, he’s sure to pick it up quickly. At 12 years young, this sweet Shih Tzu has perfected the art of calm companionship—she’s soft, serene, and radiates an almost angelic peace wherever she rests. If you’re looking for a dog who brings tranquility and warmth into your home, Imogen is your girl.Imogen is wonderfully easygoing and happy just being near her people. She adores lap time, gentle scratches, and loving attention when she’s awake, though she’s equally content spending much of her day napping sweetly in her cozy bed. Ebony and Ivory are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together.Ebony (14 lbs.) and Ivory (8 lbs.) were local strays. They were in terrible shape when found and horribly matted. Now that these sweet girls are safe with AHF, they`re looking and feeling so much better. Ivory loves to cuddle, and Ebony is more playful but loves cuddling too. They`re both very loving. We think Ivory is a maltese mix and Ebony may be a schnauzer/shih tzu mix. Both girls walk on leash. They do not get crated when their foster leaves the house and do fine confined to a large room. They get along with the other dogs in their foster home and have been friendly with kids they`ve met at adoption events. Ebony seems potty trained and Ivory is mostly; she`ll sometimes use potty pads if they`re out for other pups.If you have room in your heart and home for Ebony and Ivory, please fill out an application so you can meet them and learn more.
